The A-frame/treehouse is tucked deep in a dense forest and part of a tiny village of unique off-grid glamping structures. This is one of 5 cabins on our small organic farm. It's simple, sleek design and earth tone colors allows it to blend in with the surrounding nature.
Our location is extremely rural at 1700 feet above sea level with mountain views and only accessible by a single dirt road. We are 2.5 hours from NYC and perfect for couples looking for a fun and romantic get-a-way.
The Space:
The A-frame has natural plank board interior walls, queen sized mattress with full bedding, 2 sitting chairs, washing sink and a fabulous elevated deck that is perched more than 16 feet high and supported by a majestic oak gives it not just the feel of an A-frame but also a tree house.
Note: We offer basic amenities, such as full bedding/pillows, sink washing water, thermos of boiled water, instant tea/coffee, a vanity with small glamping style sink with water for washing hands/face, and brand new porta-potty.
The site contains an outdoor cooking area under a roof under the deck. There you will find a Coleman mini propane cooking stove.
You also must be comfortable walking 130 feet through a dense forest on slightly uneven ground and on a decline to reach the A-frame. We strongly suggest arriving for the check-in BEFORE it gets dark. And this also means the porta-potty is also 130 feet from the cabin.
Speaking of dark, if you're here during a clear night, you will be dazzled by our star gazing and wonder in awe at how clearly you can see the Milky Way from our field.
Walk our secluded dirt road and visit the animals at the nearby farm (Lamas, sheep, goats, donkeys, ducks, chickens). Other nearby attractions is the Kaaterskill Waterfall, Zoom Flume water park, Howe Caverns (underground caves) and Greenville Drive-In-Theater.
