117B Hickman St.- Are you looking for a rental for a few nights or several weeks? You have found the perfect place. Just listed in the nick of time for Memorial Day weekend and ready for summer guests. A completely renovated second floor apartment that is complete with the perfect outdoor deck. As you walk up the staircase you will find a relaxing oasis. The deck is wonderful for summer morning coffee and game nights on the outdoor table. In addition to the outdoor seating there is a table in the kitchen. Complete with a comfortable living space and a primary bedroom and bath. There are two additional bedrooms that share a full bathroom. The owner provides two on street parking permits. Parking is not allowed in the driveway.

Nightly rentals permitted with a 2 night minimum. Weekly discounts for 7 night stays.

Bedding- 1 Queen, 1 Queen, 2 Singles

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Great place! Don’t miss out!

This second floor apartment was bigger than we expected and spotless! Very easy location close to everything including the beach. 6 adults and we had plenty of room. Comfy beds and a great night sleep!

Girls getaway

The unit is very nice, bright and cheery but the seating was not adequate for us. The kitchen stools were uncomfortable and the sofa was not big enough for 5 of us.

Give this place try!

Everything was clean. Parking was easy since it was off season. There is more space than the pictures depict. Location is close to beach and the main strip. There was construction going on downstairs, but wife talked to them. They were good about keeping it down. Our kids locked a bathroom from the inside. The property manager/maintenance came within 30 minutes to unlock it. We enjoyed the stay, and would highly recommend this location.

Great place

Recently remodeled and done well. Everything worked and was clean. Good area and easy walk to a lot of places. We got two parking passes and finding parking on the street was reasonably easy. Only negative is availability of incidental’s. It was noted in the listing so I can’t fault it but we didn’t even have a sponge to wash dishes. Some minimal level of incidental’s would be an improvement.

No basic hospitality amenities

Property was 4 stars. Was in very good condition and tastefully furnished. That was good. Circular stairs as only entrance were charming but not so much when carrying multiple suitcases for the family. What was not good is not having basic amenities like toilet paper and tissues (very little was provided), zero towels (we had to buy some), no linens (we had to borrow some from friends), and zero trash bags (we had to borrow a few from a neighbor). No beach amenities like umbrellas or chairs. When a family is already spending a premium rate for a nice convenient property for our one and only family vacation, not having those basic family-friendly amenities is a big minus. Also odd is having to pay a cleaning fee but we are still required to wash our dishes when we leave! It makes no common sense to us as renters; I guess it makes sense to the property owner or management company. Regardless, all of this is enough to shift our future preferences to a hotel rather than a VRBO.

Lovely Large Loft

This place is larger than it looks from the pictures. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and the location is excellent. The check-in process is through the local Coldwell Banker realty office. The rental included pots/pans, toaster, coffee maker, salt/pepper, cooking implements, utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, tupperware, baking sheets, wine opener, hand soap, dish soap/sponge, toilet paper (though you likely want to bring extra). The listed price is similar but not exactly the same as you get on the lease from the realty office. There is an optional linens package that includes towel, hand towel, wash cloth, bed sheets and pillow cases. Otherwise these are not provided. It was easy to find street parking right near the rental, you can pull into the driveway for loading/unloading. Pros: Excellent location, clean, comfortable beds, good amount of space, two city parking permits! Cons: Spiral staircase up to the entry, poor wifi quality. I would not rely on the wifi if you needed to do work, it does not have the bandwidth to keep multiple devices connected. The realtor is in contact with the owner to get this improved so this may not be an issue for future stays. Overall, this is an excellent place for your beach vacation. 1.5 blocks from the beach and two blocks from the main strip in Rehoboth means everything is in easy access but you're in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely recommend staying here as long as your group is able to do stairs.

We absolutely loved the ease of getting to the beach/boardwalk/main strip with restaurants. It was an easy walk for us with young kids (ages 5-9). In addition, the space was exactly what we needed for a beach trip where we spent very little time indoors. Everything was very clean. The only thing we had an issue with was the kitchen sink, but, honestly, that did not bother our stay much, as we only cooked a couple times! Thanks for the wonderful vacation! We will be back!

Terrific Spot!

This cozy suite has a lot of creature comforts. They thought of many items one would like while away from home! Everything was clean & we wanted for nothing. It’s also nice to park the car after a long drive & not have to get back in until it’s departure time. Everything is close by! Great neighborhood too!

Perfect for us

My health reduces how far I can walk so being one and a half blocks from the beach was perfect. The apartment seems to have been renovated in the last 6 months. Everything was new and modern and working.. The parking pass was critical and allowed us to park the car across the street and not move it until we left..
