We enjoyed staying at the house for a long weekend. We found the house to be much nicer than the pictures on VRBO. It was a very nice house in great condition. It is located in a good location. The bikes make it easy to get around to the beach. Just bring a lock for the bikes. It was a bit of a walk, so we would usually drop off our stuff using the car then walk or ride the bikes back to the beach. The house had a nice family room, kitchen and porch area. It also has (2) other deck areas along with the front porch. The home is very cozy, and it doesn't feel like you're in a rental property. Having (3) full bathrooms was a big plus. The small TV room was also a nice area on the main floor.

Great Stay

This may have been a business trip we still enjoyed our stay at this wonderful house. It is in a great location in-between walkable to both Rehoboth and Dewey! The house is impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and a kitchen that is fully stocked if you like to cook at home, which we did most every night. The communication check in with Mary Ellen was a breeze and effortless. I highly recommend this house for your next visit to this area.

This lovely home was one of the best rental properties we have ever stayed in. It was extremely clean (everything including the couches were vacuumed before our arrival), and the house and kitchen are well equipped with everything to make your vacation a dream. Would 100% stay here again

Perfect house

We’ve stayed at a handful of properties at RB over the years, and this one is really nice. Modern furnishings, clean, and soooo well stocked. The walk to the beach was 14 minutes and no prob at all. Mary Ellen is a great communicator, too. Highly recommend.

Couldn't recommend more highly.

Our stay was fantastic. The house was super-clean upon arrival and it included everything just as advertised (including being well-stocked with little things like spices, paper products, etc.). Our contact person was extremely responsive and provided a TON of incredibly helpful information in advance about the house, the area, restaurants and other activities, and more. Check in and check out were both a breeze. The house is a solid 10-minute walk to the beach, but it's a lovely walk, along quiet, tree-lined, residential streets, and including a jaunt over a bridge across a lake. And it's a short drive to pretty much anywhere else you could want to go. I really could not have been happier.

Perfect home

My family and I were attending a wedding a mile and half away. We needed a place that would work for 2 families and my 90 year old father in law. Mary Ellen’s home was above our expectations! Everyone in our group said what a fantastic house! My father in law loved drinking his coffee on the screeed in porch. There was so much room for all of us! My New Jersey family fell in love with Rehobeth and wants to come back next year. We will would love to stay in Mary Ellen’s home again.

Very nice house, nice walk to the beach

Very clean house, loved the screened back porch. Comfortable beds & couches. We walked to the beach once but it's a long walk with beach gear. The surrounding area is also very nice. We used the grill & also got excellent takeout from a local restaurant. We appreciated the suggestions from the homeowner, and she responded quickly to emails. Thanks!

Fantastic house, great location!

We had a great stay at Mary Ellen’s house! We had a group of 4 adults and 2 children. The house was very clean and well equipped. There are lots of games and toys in the den - the kids loved having their own playroom and TV. The kitchen and living area were nicely set up, making it easy for everyone to gather and hang out while someone was cooking. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and grill. The location is very convenient for walking to the beach and boardwalk/downtown area, and the neighborhood was great for running and walking. It was nice to have the outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach! Overall, highly recommend staying in this lovely house.

Great house, great location

My friends and I were looking for a low-key, offseason rental near the beach and we couldn't be happier with our choice to stay at Mary Ellen's place. Mary Ellen was extremely communicative and her detailed information packet included everything we needed to know about the house and the area. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked - I loved the extra bonus of the Sodastream machine! We didn't come with kids but I noticed games and other things for small children that I would have appreciated if they had come along. The house was in great proximity to downtown and we walked to dinner and the boardwalk one night, and we were a short drive away from other amenities. We had a great stay - thanks for everything, Mary Ellen!

Great location, house and host

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and clean, and we especially enjoyed the screened-in porch on the back. The location is excellent; it is a fairly easy walk to the beach, the Rehoboth boardwalk, or Dewey, and the outlets are simpler to access because of the house’s proximity to Route One. This is a great plane for a family to stay. Mary Ellen is also super responsive, accommodating, and kind. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Wonderful Beach House

We stayed her for the Coastal Running Festival. The pictures don't do it justice, it's absolutely perfect! We loved staying here - everything was top-notch at the house. It was a great location, too, just a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk. We'll be staying there again for sure! Highly recommend!

Amazing property and location!

Not only was Mary Ellen wonderful to deal with, responsive, and very welcoming, but the location was accessible to both Rehoboth and Dewey beaches. The house was clean and there was more than enough room for everyone in my family to have their own space. We had an awesome time and will definitely be returning in the future!

Great Weekend Trip

We had a great long weekend getaway in Rehoboth. The house was clean, roomy for 3 adult couples, and close to the beaches, restaurants and shopping. The Rehoboth beach, boardwalk and restaurants (which were great by the way) are walkable but we found it easier to drive mostly. The owner, Mary Ellen, was very responsive and helpful. 5 Stars all round!

Beautiful vacation home

We had a fantastic time at Rehoboth and staying at Mary Ellen’s place. She was so easy to work with - super responsive and explained everything so well about the house and town. You can walk to the beach and boardwalk from the house, but we found it easier to drive with all our stuff. Parking at the beach in the morning was easy enough to do. The house was clean, had everything we needed, and plenty of space. Hoping to come back next summer!

We have owned this home since it was a tiny 300 square foot cinderblock summer cottage. In 2002, we removed the cottage and built the current home. We love our home, but due to our children's busy schedules, even in the summer, we decided to rent our home for part of the summer. Our house will not "feel" like a rental house because it is not...it is truly our home.

We absolutely love our home and hope you do too! We are in a quiet neighborhood, which is a benefit when you are ready to get some sleep! But we are close enough to downtown Rehoboth that we often walk or bike into town when we are ready for some action. We also have very easy access to the beaches and Dewey Beach. We have a huge well-stocked kitchen if you like to cook! Our screened porch runs the full width of the house and is fantastic for relaxing and eating. We also have a large covered deck upstairs that faces the back of the house. A wonderful space to read a book or take a nap if you decide to skip the beach one day. And the front bedroom upstairs has a lovely deck to sit and have morning coffee and watch all the folks out for their morning walk to the beach.

Our house is very comfortable for living and entertaining. All of our guests comment on how much they love the open layout of the house, and how clean and comfortable they find the house. We have two wonderful shade trees in the back yard which keep the yard (and screened porch and upper deck) comfortable even on the steamiest of summer days.
