Endless View Cottage

Endless View Cottage is a unique flat lot (no stairs) on a prominence that reaches out from the side of Calabash Boom Mtn toward East End, Hurricane Hole, Haul Over, the British Virgin Islands, and the Atlantic Ocean to the south.

The home was lovingly built by father and son for our families and for guests who appreciate the spectacular views and the tranquility the location provides.

With 700sf of indoor living, and an additional 700sf of covered porches, there is an abundance of space for a couple to enjoy the sunrise while listening to the sound of waves lapping the shoreline below. The evening offers romantic moonrises that reflect off the ocean, together with the sounds of tree frogs and tropical birds preparing for nightfall.
EVC is minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, bars featuring local bands, and beaches, even though it’s on the quiet side of the island. The cottage features a full kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances as well as indoor and outdoor dining areas. The king bedroom features an A/C unit to stay cool, but you will find yourself not needing it when you open the double slider doors to let in the Caribbean tradewinds. The bathroom has tons of natural light with a large walk-in tiled shower. If showering al fresco is more your thing, there is an outdoor shower overlooking the British Virgin Islands.

Our home has full solar and plenty of backup batteries to ensure you never have to worry about the pesky island power outages.

Gorgeous Views and Very Relaxing

Endless View is a beautiful home. The pictures don't do it justice. It was so relaxing to have our coffee on the patio in the morning, and come back in the evenings to a nice breeze, gorgeous view and total peace. The north shore beaches are very close, and of course we couldnt miss a trip to Lime Out, which is just down the street. The home is very clean and the bed was so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous everything you need awesome kitchen ,outdoor grill and a wonderful outdoor shower that we used as our main shower. Convenient calabash market at bottom of rd. This place is a wonderful rental and would recommend for everyone

Spectacular view!!!

The property is absolutely exactly how it’s described. Very beautiful, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need for a great stay on St. John. All the appliances and kitchenware everything is brand new and there’s plenty you will have everything you need. And the view, wow, you can’t beat it. The view is incredibly breathtaking!

Great View, Great for 2

This was my wife and I's 12th visit to St John. Endless View had everything a couple would need for a stay in Coral Bay. The house is well situated in the way it faces the ocean, creating for an ideal view for morning coffee or evening drinks. The kitchen is well stocked, and the outdoor shower was a great bonus. The drive up to the house was pleasant compared to some St John roads! At least 50% of the road up was paved, if not more. We would definitely consider staying again for future Coral Bay visits!

Loved Endless View!

This villa is perfect for 2, the back porch and view are spectacular. The villa is beautiful, clean and so comfortable. The location is perfect for us as we prefer the Coral Bay side of the island. The access to the villa is not an issue. We come to St. John twice per year, this is the 1st villa that we will repeat. We will be back!!!

Absolutely Stunning

Wow… this place was amazing! The house was so clean, easy check-in, gorgeous views. I can’t say anything bad about our entire stay! Host was super responsive always - before we booked, before we traveled, and when we were there! Wealth of knowledge and advice about the island as well! My husband and I felt incredibly lucky with the house and the host! Be ready for the up-hill climb with your 4-wheel drive vehicle, but entirely worth it every time! We watched every sunrise right from the porch, and after trying to find a west-facing sunset, we concluded the house had beautiful sunsets and we didn’t really need to go anywhere else! We had a wonderful stay, thank you so much!!!

What a view! Absolutely stunning house with all the modern amenities. It’s all about the view and complete serenity. My husband and I stayed for 7 days and had a wonderful time. We ate at Skinny Legs - great food and great service as well as eating at The Surf Club Cantina. The host Michael communicated with us from the moment we rented the house. You will not be disappointed!

Great Vacation

Our fifth stay in the Calabash Boom area. Other times we stayed with my brother and sister in law so we needed larger accomodations. This trip it was just the wife and I and Endless Views was perfect for us. Great location with easy access to the south beachs and Coral Bay. The single floor concept made unpacking a breeze. The well equipped kitchen made it easy for us to cook all our meals during our stay. If you're coming over on the car barge I reccomend stopping at Starfish Market before going to the villa. The Dolphin and Love City markets in Coral Bay may be low in produce and meats. They restock on Tuesdays.

My husband and I stayed at Endless View and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! This listing has everything you will need. Everything is well taken care of. Don’t miss out on this great villa!

This was our 8th trip to the island and we had an amazing stay at Endless View! We received detailed driving and arrival instructions from the owner. Upon entry we were AMAZED at the view (and later that evening were treated to the full Snow Moon reflecting off the ocean). The house is beautiful and was well-equipped for our stay. The location is great - in a quiet neighborhood and just a short drive to both north shore and southeastern beaches. We dined out at Coral Bay bars/restaurants, but also enjoyed cooking at the villa (several markets with fresh fish/meat/produce are nearby). Everything was great and exceeded our expectations! Thank you Michael for taking great care of us.

Very Special VRBO

We are quite elderly, but this place suited us nicely. You can easily see the careful thought taken by Owner and builder- Michael. Details for convenience, setting, layout, and his personal artwork are important. It's like staying at a friends house while they are away. We had special guests for breakfast almost every day who accepted us as though we belonged there. 2 Deer, pair of Kestrels, one Iguana that was too shy to stay through breakfast. Please don't feed them. We have stayed at Calabash Boom before, so the fabulous view and the jeep drive halfway up the mountain are most important even if there are storms. Our hikes and snorkeling at secluded beaches seemed like the coral and fish are coming back slowly.

Gorgeous Villa with Amazing Views!

Endless View was an incredible experience for my husband and I, everything was perfect! The views from the kitchen and porch were remarkable and the moonrise was something amazing to experience! This was our third visit to St. John and we definitely recommend this villa and would stay here again. Endless View has everything you need for your stay, including Solar Power during the recent power outages. We love staying in Coral Bay, the quieter, laid-back part of the island and Calabash Boom was easy to access! There is a small grocery very close by and several restaurants. You can park right at the villa, with no steps to navigate and easy entry! The villa owner was always easy to contact and quick to respond. Michael, thank you for sharing your special family home with us! The attention to detail was amazing! The little lizards and deer that visited each day were an added bonus!

Coral Bay - Endless View

My husband and I had an awesome 1st time vacation in St. John. Staying at Endless View was absolutely the BEST!! The views were absolutely stunning and the sunrises were dramatically epic!! Our 1st day we saw 2 rainbows - I knew right then we were going to love it here. The weather was absolutely perfect - NO A/C needed the entire week. Nice sea breeze all day and night. The house was perfect for the two of us. Everything in the house was very nice and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with every kitchen appliance we needed. The decor was great - nice photos of sea life/ island life. Coral Bay is the quieter side of the island so if this is your preference, this is an awesome place to stay. I highly recommend renting a Jeep. St. John has a lot of mountains so it was more comforting to know we could explore it better in a Jeep. We visited most of the beaches, all were amazing: My favorite was Trunk Bay. Snorkeling is great, all beaches a little different. Saw sea turtles and stingrays at Maho, saw lots of fish and coral at Trunk Bay. We also did some small hikes/walks in the area: near Salt Pond, Watermelon Bay and near Haulover Bay (East End). Michael, our host, was a top-notch host - 5 Star. Very attentive to our needs and gave us a lot of suggestions for our 1st trip to St. John. He is very knowledgeable to the area, and was a great to communicate with. I highly recommend Endless View for a wonderful place to stay in St. John!!

Phenomenal cottage

Calling this "Endless View" is so conservative and understated. Add any superlatives you'd like and it still wouldn't describe the total experience, starting and ending with the view. I've made numerous trips to the island and always stayed in or near Coral Bay and was trying to contact a previous place I'd stayed at before. When I got no response, we took to the short-term rental apps and came across Endless View Cottage. I was leery because it had no reviews but after contacting Mike, the owner, found out he and his dad had just completed renovations and put it up for rent. We were one of the early guests (11/25-12/2/23). I also found out he is friends with several of my friends on the island so I felt comfortable booking And, boy, am I glad we did. The entire cottage is new, clean, tasteful, comfortable, and complete. We had a very, very minor issue with the keycode upon arrival and Mike responded within minutes to my text and fixed it immediately. He also checked in several times to make sure everything was fine. It was unnecessary but very much appreciated. But the best part is the view, morning, noon, and night. The sunrises are breathtaking and the week we stayed had a full moon that was just spectacular. Whenever we made a trip to the beach, groceries, or out to eat (which really wasn't necessary with the kitchen and grill), we could not wait to get back to sit on the deck and just exhale. You will not find a better location or owner than here. Thank you, Mike.

My husband and I stayed at “Endless View Cottage” for a vacation and we had an absolutely amazing time! The view from the covered, open porch was stunning! The most beautiful view you could ask for. We loved having our coffee in the morning, sitting on the provided lounge chairs, with the breeze blowing and being in awe of the view in front of us. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. The king bed was very comfortable and having the air conditioner unit was helpful, though we barely needed it when we had the screen window opened. The house is up on the mountain, but that only adds to the charm and gives you a different perspective of the island. Everything was spotless when we arrived and the host kept us well informed from the time we booked the property until check out. If we could give “Endless View Cottage” more than 5 stars we would. We are already planning when we can come back. Thank you Michael, for providing your lovely home for others to enjoy as well.

My father, my fiancé, and I spent 4 years living on St. John while constructing Endless View Cottage. From sculpting the land, forming the cisterns which hold the house’s water, to installing the solar panels on the roof that provide power to the home, every nail, piece of wood, and drop of paint in between was applied by the hands of all of our family members, through lots of hard work, and plenty of love. We hope you enjoy staying with us!
