We rented this VRBO for a family wedding. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with the basics such as TP and paper towels, unlike some other locations I’ve been at. There were plenty of clean towels and other items for a large house. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a large, family friendly location in a quiet neighborhood setting!

The beds were comfy, and house was clean. The bathroom could use some updating however. Kitchen was well stocked- however it would be more convenient if the coffee bar was in the kitchen and not the dining room. Also plates and bowls were in China hut around the corner (between kitchen and diningroom), so it took a little looking for what we needed- but it was all there. It worked well for our family for a wedding nearby. Sump-pump in the basement kicked on often due to the rain, but i am a light sleeper- and good ears.

Very functional home for family stay

The house is nice. Although it is a ranch it should be noted that there is a significant step up into the kitchen and master bedroom from living room. The patio and backyard is very nice.

Convenient

In town for our son’s wedding, needed somewhere quiet where we could sleep and get ready. Fit the bill. Cute, vintage house. Quiet neighborhood.

NOT a Home away from Home

there were leaking pipes tied with towels, not enough kitchen utensils to cook, serve or eat a meal. Being able to cook meals for more than 6 people is a main reason for using VRBO rather than a hotel. The space was enough to accommodate our family but I was disappointed.

Not worth it

It appears the house does not get used often from the stale smell upon entering. The second bathroom is in the basement and is clear it doesn't get used from the cobwebs in the corners. The basement shower does not get hot water like it should and the shower is warm at best. For the most part it was clean the floors and bedding. The oven needed wiped down on the front. For the price I would stay in a hotel next time.

Concert trip with friends

Turned out the house was a bit farther away from our focus area in Milwaukee but it worked out fine. We needed the 4 bedrooms and two bath setup. What wasn’t clear is the fact that one bathroom was in the basement. We had to guys with challenges walking and couldn’t use the second bathroom… the listing doesn’t mention that. A few things need repairs, specifically the screens are useless so keeping the sliding doors open was not an option with the bugs. Overall the neighborhood was quiet but the floors were very squeaky… up in the night was disturbing to others. We had a nice enough stay but I wouldn’t book again… just didn’t fit our needs.

Very clean house. Would recommend bringing larger pans if planning to cook for larger groups though. Otherwise very nice stay.
