The host was extremely polite and accommodating. Monica was great at communicating and very pleasent to talk with. Hot tub was a little dirty. Needed a little cleaning and some chemicals. But overall the stay was great.

I would not recommend any host rent to these people they are scammers, first of all they lied on the reservation stating it was only going to be him and his elderly wife and maybe a friend, but the friend would not stay. This gentleman had several people over, used every single bed in the home. When I informed the gentleman I needed to come and put chemical in the pool he did not want me to come over and stated he would do it himself and it wouldn’t be a problem. The gentleman did tell me he seen some sugar ants. I told him I would be down there once again with some traps and he refused, saying that he had already got some not to worry about it and that he did not want me to come. I did realize the reason he did not want me to come on the premises was because he did not want me to see the amount of people he had over, but I did not make it a big deal. At checkout, I realized he did not add chemical nor did he set out traps regretting not doing it myself to try to make the guest comfortable. The cleaners had to do extra cleaning because of the amount of people the gentleman had over and I was charged.

Communication with host was ok, but the advertise of the house is aged and/or inaccurate. The property was run down and in a state of incomplete DYI and most of it had veen this way for apparantly some time, not like a "work in progress". Some issues were exposed electrical components, hot tub was filthy, coffee maker advertised but not there. Very limited kitchen items, pans were not fit for use. Not until after you book and have paid are told you must supply your own propane for BBQ or out door dining table. Playhouse is broken down and leaning to point of being a safety hazard. The point of getting a vacation rental is to have a space you can spend time that IS what is as advertised, to feel safe and not have to "make a list" of all the things wrong...in case it is questioned after check out. You plan and pack accordingling and we would have likely been better to have just spent the money for hotwl rooms.

Please be advised that Peggy called several times throughout her husband’s stay asking what they were doing. I would also like to clarify that you arranged this trip for your husband and his friends. Providing false feedback because you were not included in the trip is inappropriate.
It is also advised that we do not provide propane. Throughout the stay, your husband was very kind, excited, and expressed multiple times how much he and his friends were enjoying the home. I spoke with him several times during the trip, and he continued to share that they were having a great time. I am also confident that they did not use the play set.
The photos listed on the app accurately reflect the property. The concerns mentioned in your review appear to come from unrealistic expectations and requests for more than what was paid for. Thank you for your feedback.

It was great until it wasn't
Monica is so amazing! Anything we needed, she answered the phone and fixed it! I did get my back windshield bashed in and the security cameras that were advertised, did not work:( The house could use a few more amenities like kitchen towels, pot holders, salt and pepper, oil etc.

Booked and Cancelled my reservation!
I booked my stay, and the owner cancelled my reservation. I was stuck with VRBO fees. It is the owner's responsibility to make sure properties are not double booked! You dropped the ball on this one!

House Rules • Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM. • No pets are allowed. If a pet is found on the property during your stay, a $500 cleaning fee will be charged. • No shoes are allowed inside the home. • No visitors are allowed unless they are included on the reservation. Any additional guests must be added to the reservation in advance, or additional fees may apply. • No parties or events are permitted on the property. • Please keep all doors closed at all times while the air conditioning is running.
Utilities & Property Care
We monitor power and water usage. Excessive usage may result in additional charges. This includes: • Leaving doors open while the air conditioning is running • Cryptocurrency mining or similar high-power usage activities • Excessive water usage
Parking • A maximum of 4 vehicles are allowed on the property. • Parking across the street or at neighboring homes is not permitted. • If you expect to have more than 4 vehicles, please notify me as soon as possible.
Pool & Hot Tub Rules • All floating devices must be removed from the pool after use to prevent damage to the skimmer and pool pump. • The hot tub cover must be replaced after every use to maintain the temperature at 104°F.
Water Usage
Please do not turn on the outside water hose and leave it running near the window, as it may flood the downstairs apartment. Guests will be responsible for any resulting damages.
During your stay, you are responsible for any damages to the property. If anything is damaged, please notify me immediately so repairs can be arranged promptly.

Cleaning & Check-Out Expectations
Please note that the cleaning fee is only $50. If the home is not left in the same condition it was found, an additional cleaning fee will be charged.
Before check-out, please ensure: • All used linens, blankets, and towels are placed near the washer • Dishes are washed and put away countertop wiped • Floors are swept and mopped • All trash is placed neatly in the outdoor trash cans
If there is excess trash that does not fit in the dumpster, it must be taken with you. No extra trash may be left at the property, especially after gatherings or events. A $200 trash removal fee will be charged if additional trash pickup is required.
Missing towels will be charged at $10 per towel. Please do not remove towels from the property.
Additional Information
I am available 24 hours a day if you need assistance during your stay.
We do not provide propane; however, there is an Ace Hardware nearby where propane can be purchased or refilled at your convenience.
Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM, but you are welcome to enjoy the outdoor fire pits quietly as long as noise levels do not disturb the neighbors.
At check-out if you decide to check out late you will acquire a penalty of $250 an hour due to having to bring an extra cleaners to be able to have the house clean for the next check-in.
