Welcome to Indian Rocks Beach
Our city stretches less than three miles along the Gulf of Mexico and, like its neighboring barrier islands, waterfront property faces either the Gulf or the Intracoastal Waterway. At some points along this narrow piece of land you can even view both bodies of water.

A quiet town of approximately 4,000, Indian Rocks Beach was initially developed in the 1920’s as a weekend getaway destination for wealthy inland Florida residents. Its 2.7 miles of beachfront are popular with all ages and between its array of motels and condominiums there are more than 20 convenient beach access points.

?Our easily accessible beaches and intracoastal waterways provide an array of enjoyable activities for residents and visitors alike. Whether you swim, fish, boat or just sunbathe there are an endless number of amenities available for your pleasure.

Place was as described. It was clean and had everything we needed. Access was simple and host had good communication. Need better blinds or curtains for the bedroom, the room is bright at night from the lights outside. Also wish there was a little more hot water, not enough for two people to shower back to back. It runs out very fast on the second person.

Great location!

We enjoyed its casual atmosphere, being one minute from beach, and on the Golf Blvd strip..so entertaining! Construction was going on to repair hurricane damage but the crew was courteous and not bothersome. Although grounds outside could have been cleaned up a bit. Fun place to stay!

Simple accommodations- good location.

Great location. It’s nothing fancy, so if you’re looking for a place to be inside all the time, probably not this place, but it couldn’t be more conveniently located & the price is right.

Great location/Price

Lovely little motel with a 50’s vibe. Clean and comfortable for the two of us. Has kitchenette facilities but we enjoyed walking to the local restaurants and really enjoyed our vacation. WE WILL BE BACK!

Quaint Getaway

We arrived within weeks of Hurricane Helene but this locale was just right for what we needed. I planned a vacation with my elderly mom and it was perfect for us. It had beach access, located near major roads and on the main drag. We didn’t eat in, but could’ve. It was just right for us.

It was fine for short stay

It was small, not well stocked. Saw a couple of large bugs. Some amenities listed were not available (dishwasher) or hard to find-instructions not clear or provided. Size was OK for 2 people, I don’t recommend more.

Beach getaway

Check in process was super easy. Location was fantastic, lots of places within walking distance to eat. It's nice there was a little convenience store 2 blocks away to get basic supplies like coffee, bottled water, etc. The place was big enough for our family of 3, having 1 bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in living room. The walk to the beach was only 2 minutes away and having an umbrella and chairs provided was a bonus, especially when flying in. I' d stay again!

Great relaxing vacation spot

The house was a perfect oasis that was only a 1 minute walk to the beach. Beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, etc. were all provided for us at the house. It was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. Just minutes from at least 4-5 of the best restaurants for relaxing or watching the game. Ice cream right across the street. Quiet neighborhood. 10 stars from this girl. We will be back.

Here is just a quick overview of my career along with a few of our Vacation strengths in the rental industry.
I have been involved in the hospitality field most of my life. After graduating from Boston University back in 1986 I got my start working as a night auditor in a small hotel in Boston. I was instantly fascinated with this industry and wanted to know everything about it. I enjoyed finding new ways to improve the overall experience for the guests and in doing so, I was promoted often. I learned all aspects of each department and through the years I became the General Manager of some well-known hotels and upscale boutique inns.
During my corporate career as a General Manager of a Hyatt Hotel in Tampa Florida, I had an opportunity to manage a small beach vacation rental along the shores of the Gulf. Simply put…I was hooked. This became my new passion and career.
My wife and I had stayed in vacation rentals in the past with mixed feelings about our stays, I knew there was room for improvement in the Vacation Rental business and I was excited to get started.
My team and I have worked hard over the years and I feel our success at Carter Coastal Vacation Rentals is from having a variety of vacation property options that suits each guests needs and budget. We also have chosen to keep Carter Coastal Vacation Rental business relatively small in order to maintain a personable connection with each of our new arrivals. I, along with my team understand the importance of anticipating the guest's needs as well as treating each guest with complete respect during their vacation getaway.
We take great pride in serving you. We are here for you. So choose one of our properties and soon you will be enjoying a "little slice of paradise" on the beautiful barrier island.

The location is perfectly located on the beachside quieter section of beach. Only 7 quaint units at this Villa by the sea. Park on site and walk to pubs, shops, local restaurants and of course the BEACH ! Nice shaded common area patio with tables, seats under umbrellas with a large propane grill for pour guests. Great place to relax and unwind. Watch the sunsets each evening and the dolphins pass by as you relax on the beach.
