Exceptional House, Exceptional Location
We stayed for 3 months at Christina's house and it was the best winter we've had in years!
Christina's house was just like home...only better! For a long stay there was everything we could want:
•plenty of dishes, utensils, pots & pans
•excellent towels for both inside and out
•2 amazing patios to sit outside and eat and/or work
•big TVs in all of the bedrooms and one in the family room; and a big bonus was no TV in the front living room so if we didn't want to be distracted by it we could sit and read or look out the window or nap...chef's kiss!
The neighborhood is family oriented and quiet. Great walking in the hood. Plus a huge attraction for us...it's close to the Cove Trails and Santa Rosa wilderness for lots of hiking.
La Quinta's historic town was only 1.5 miles away so we could easily go to the shops and weekend art shows and farmer's markets. We had friends and family pop in during our 3 month stay and they loved the closeness of the historic town, too! Be sure to check out the free La Quinta History Museum...great info on the area and its history...including the early residents the Cahuilla native communities.
It was hard for us to leave because it felt like home! Strong recommend!
