Great stay! We will be back.

We had a great time during our stay. The condo was new, super clean, spacious. Everything was close and convenient. Nice to have the pool, fireplace, and kayaks available so close. Good restaurants and walking path. By far my teenage and young adult’s favorite VRBO we have used. Looking at dates for next year already.

Weekend ladies trip

We enjoyed our stay this past weekend! The condo was spacious and extremely clean! It is brand new & had just about everything we needed (including paper towels, dish soap, dishwashing soap, and a sponge). We did leave some tupperware, ziplock bags, & kitchen thongs behind to help add to the essentials needed when cooking in the kitchen. IN addition, the location is perfect! The condo is located inside Hotel Canandaigua & is right on the water. The hotel also had outdoor live music, cornhole, & outdoor seating with a perfect view of Lake Canandaigua. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Mostly good property. Host and cleaning issues.

The good- the condo is new in a lovely hotel and in a lovely area. Pretty surroundings, fun restaurants nearby. Was a great set up for spending time with friends. The problems-The host was totally non responsive after we paid. We were unable to obtain checkin instructions despite several attempts to secure them. The place was not clean when we arrived. The bed was slept in( the towels and soap were used; the toilets were dirty; there were dirty dishes and the coffee pot was not cleaned. Multiple attempts to contact the host to deal with the situation were unsuccessful. The hotel where the condo is located told us they were not responsible for condo management. Only through phone contact with VRBO were we able to get cleaning help (Thank you, VRBO!). This all took time and was a very frustrating way to start a vacation. Once cleaned, the place was okay. It is clearly staged for sale rather than renter comfort. Minimal kitchen supplies, minimal decor, no balcony furniture, one key only, no instructions for TV, no instructions for facilities access. The guest room mattress was totally broken down on one side and was very difficult to sleep on. (Clearly not a new mattress). So overall okay, but definitely some things to be worked out here.
