Overall a nice stay
Overall the house was nice and clean. We LOVED the private beach access that was just across the street! Location was exactly what we’d hoped for. Just two small things and one issue…We feel that the golf cart needed some maintance. The battery went down VERY quickly. You could tell that the battery needed to be replaced so we couldn’t drive it very far. The cookware that was in the cabinets were not good. Haha, we actually went and bought a skillet to use for cooking breakfast in.
The main issue we had was the owner had a camera mounted up in the backyard pointed directly at the hot tub. Believe me, I get as far as an owner goes wanting to make sure nothing is going on while the house is not being rented out BUT as far as being parent goes it’s very disturbing and strange that it was not mentioned in the listing info. My husband moved the camera away from the view of the hot tub and we immediately got a rather direct message saying not to touch it and they would send a maintance guy over right away to put it back. Having our teenage daughter in the hot tub while someone could be watching her, UM NO!! This camera was NOT mentioned in the overall description of the property so we feel we have a right to be upset because it was part of the appeal of the home. Regardless to say, the hot tub was not used by us.
