Nestled just steps away from the Gulf of Mexico on Scenic 30A in Dune Allen Beach, "Wave Whisperer" boasts captivating views of Oyster Lake, a rare coastal dune lake, offering exceptional value along 30A. Only 50 yards from a small beach access and in close proximity to the Dune Allen Regional access, this pet-friendly home with a maximum 2-dog rule is a haven for families seeking an affordable yet splendid 30A vacation. Enjoy the convenience of the heated community pool, positioned next to Oyster Lake, and relish easy access to Scenic 30A's renowned bike and walking path.
The bottom floor features a renovated fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and two bedrooms. The primary bedroom offers a king bed and en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, while the second bedroom includes a queen bed and custom-built twin bunks. The guest bath features a tub/shower combo.
On the second floor, a spacious living area awaits, boasting two seating areas, including a large sectional couch. An additional refrigerator with an ice-maker enhances convenience, accompanied by a sink and microwave for easy snacking. The primary bedroom on this level presents a king bed and en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom features a queen bed and custom-built adult-sized twin bunks, with the guest bath offering a tub/shower combo. Recently remodeled, all four bathrooms showcase updated features, complemented by new flooring throughout the entire home as of January 2023. Please note that "Wave Whisperer" is a non-smoking rental.

Enjoyed our stay

Excellent location. The property management was great to work with. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen layout is a little weird making it extremely difficult to reach plates, bowls, and cookware but we managed. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Great house in a perfect location!

The layout of this house is awesome bc there’s two master bedrooms and two guest bedroom with a queen and bunk beds. Loved the upstairs living room and everything was nice and clean. Rental company was easy to work with. Thanks again!

Great experience

I highly recommend this house. We had a large group and it was perfect for all of us. Beach access was wonderful and the kids enjoyed the heated pool. The golf cart that we rented was a big hit with our grandchildren. Plenty of places to walk your dog and any questions we had was answered promptly. One of our most enjoyable stays!

Loved the location of the property! My kids loved having the pool right by the house. The house is really cute and the decor was perfect. The only complaint was the house smelled musty when we checked in. We loved having the golf cart as well. Great rental and we will be back!

Comfortable house

The house was exactly what was described. It was very comfortable and felt homey. The beds were comfortable. One of the showers on the second floor has the issue of water coming out in the bathroom that we were drying after each shower. My only disappointment was the condition of backyard. The patio set was very old and cushions were moldy. We were planning to use the BBQ but we never did as it was not really necessary ce to sit back there.

Loved it!

This cute beach home looks just like the pictures. There was plenty of room for our 4 kids ages 12-16 and 4 adults. Beach access is very convenient...right across the street. We loved having the pool right outside. The house was clean, both kitchens were well stocked, beds were comfortable and towels were plush. We would definitely come back!

Perfect for ladies get-away

Four adult women went to the 30A Songwriters Festival and this was a great place for us to stay. It was great for each lady to have a bedroom and private bath. The downstairs kitchen was where we gathered and ate (though there was an upstairs kitchen too…!). The house was clean and well-equipped. The view of Oyster Lake was lovely. Will definitely consider for a future trip. Thanks!!

Beautiful home on 30A

Great location and house is as advertised. Close to pool and fun fish watching in the next door lake. The upper deck is perfect at night and absolutely stunning sunsets. Only issue is the beach access across the street is EXTREMELY limited with security guards huddling everyone is a very small area of the beach while the rest is marked private. The public beach is fairly far with an infant and crowded. The private beach guards really ruined a lot of vacation for people in all the houses around us. It does list this in the details but 2 yrs ago we stayed nearby with no issues so it was a surprise. Totally not the owners fault but a huge drawback for family’s just wanting beach time.

Girls trip 2022 - NOT a GULF view

This is NOT a Gulf view property. We spend a week at the beach every year and had to find a larger place this year. The house is big enough to house ten people.. The upstairs furniture (couch) was super comfy and there is ample seating downstairs for dining. Both king sized beds were comfy and the bunks were as well considering it was a bunk bed. The downstairs queen support slats are missing and the mattress falls through to the floor. We did have to launder the linen upon check in due to remaining sand in the bunk beds. The house is bright and decorated nicely. Beware of the camera located at the front door. It is positioned just above the shaded glass and can see in the unit. They also automatically adjust the thermostat during the day. We rented the golf cart and IF you plan to stay right there it might be worth it but otherwise save your money. The beach access is across the street and we just set things up early for the day. It is very SMALL and if you aren't the early bird you will have to go to the public access down the street.

Great spot

This house is great location and super cute and roomy. The layout was wonderful for us. Be aware that even though the public beach access is directly across the street, it’s only like 40 feet of access before you get to “private” beach, of which you will get kicked off. This would have been handy to know going in. Still great though, you just have to get up early and get a good spot. Would rent again.

Dune Allen Beach House

Great location with easy access to beach. Nice neighborhood. Close proximity to great restaurants. Major plus was having pool next to unit, access to beach, nature trails, lock off between first and second floors. Furniture was dated; coffee table downstairs was beat up; stove and refrigerator upstairs needs updating; first floor exterior door lock needs attention as it wouldn't lock from the outside (had to lock from the inside and go out the side door). Had a very good stay and would refer friends to the unit.

Great House - Beach Issues

This is a great property but be aware it is two exact units with kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a living area on each floor. So although roomy, for our combined family of 10, the living area could not comfortably accommodate all of us in on one floor but that was our issue and for many families if you weren’t regularly gathering together it would be perfect. Also there’s a large porch and a balcony which was nice with plenty of chairs. Property was very clean although we couldn’t check in when we got there because the cleaning people were running behind so we had to hang around for about 90 minutes until they finished. Beds are comfy there could be more places to store clothes in the rooms with the bunk beds and those rooms have no closets. Nice towels and even small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel offered. Its very close to the beach, and the pool right next door was a plus. Kitchen is fairly well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Now the beach… the beach is gorgeous and accessible just steps the house. The problem is where to set up as the is a residential area and the homeowners on the beach call their security people who threaten to call the police if you’re not in a 30’ tiny wedge of an area at the waters edge. Every day we and other renters were hassled about where we could place chairs or pop ups and it seemed to change daily depending on who you talked to. I mean there’s all this gorgeous beach and yet you’re forced into a tiny area and even then, someone ends up coming down and tells you you need to move. It really put a damper on the beach time. We just wanted to have about a 10’ area for chairs, towels and coolers and yet everyday we were threatened by either supposed homeowners, their security people or some guy who sets up chairs for the homeowners on the beach and he was the worse. Even to the point of threatening physical violence. All I can say is, loved the house and the beach and water is spectacular but the beach access was an issue.
