The Beach & The Bum! 2-Min Walk to Sandy Beach!

Welcome to The Beach & The Bum! This unique property has everything you need to kick back and relax. Just a 2-minute walk to the sandy beach, you can smell the salt air from the front porch! Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located complex. Walking distance to shopping food, and fun!

You will feel quite right at home with full kitchen, dedicated living room, and eating area. The kitchen has all your cooking needs. Full bathroom downstairs and 2nd full bathroom upstairs along with main bedroom, full bed in sleeping area at top of stairs, and twin trundle bed in the loft above the kitchen. (Home is on the 3rd level with no elevator)
There is also a community pool, and fresh water showers at the bottom of the stairs to rinse the sand away.
The unit comes with 1 dedicated parking space, additional parking can be extremely limited during peak season. *if driving an SUV or large truck, you may need to use the overflow parking.*

Beach towels are not provided, guests must bring their own.
We provide a startup supply of paper towels, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, trash bags, and toilet tissue.

Sandcastle Villas is located on the east end of Panama City Beach, closest to all of the local eateries, and hangouts!

I am easily reachable through the messaging system and can be reached through my cell phone in an emergency situation.

The condo was very clean, well equiped kitchen, living room furniture was a little dated. All bedrooms are up-staires, and had T.V.'S. And ceiling fans. The only thang that was not mentioned in the ad was that the condo is on the 3rd floor and you had to walk up 6 flight of stairs, there is no elevator, I thought that should have been mentioned,so that was not good gor me with a knee that i had surgery on.

This unit is really in need of a deep clean and air circulation. It smells wet and musty. The fans that work are covered in dust and overall just felt and looked dirty. The kitchen was barely equipped to get by. Lucky for us, there were only three people staying because there were literally only three forks available. No pots to use, only frying pans. We come to PCB twice a year and unfortunately, this is not a place I would stay in again.

Had these concerns been communicated during your stay, we would have appreciated the opportunity to address them in real time. We take cleanliness seriously and followed up with our cleaning and maintenance teams immediately after receiving your comments. The kitchen is stocked based on the unit’s standard inventory, though we understand preferences and cooking needs can vary from guest to guest. We have since rechecked kitchen supplies and replenished missing items, including cookware and utensils. Panama City Beach’s coastal climate can occasionally create humidity challenges, especially during high-moisture periods, but we are continuing to make improvements to airflow and ventilation throughout the property. We value all guest feedback and are using your comments to further improve the experience for future stays.

This was a very unique and awesome condo. The host was very quick to respond to all emails. Very clean unit. Absolutely 5 stars across the board.

So held off on this a bit. Waited to see something of a better response out of host but got nothing and now reimbursement so here goes : Fleas + Satins on beds + Build up of dirt in a lot of spots + We checked in seemed just a tad run down but planned to tough it out. Pullout bed had stains so kids slept on couch one of them slept on upstairs bed. Next morning he had bites on him we checked for bedbugs and did not see any guesses maybe from somewhere else looked like flea bites. Next day went ok but then second morning more bites. When we got back that afternoon we decided it was best for us to relocate we alerted host and left only half way through stay. No offers to make it right and a message back asking if we had pictures of fleas and saying it was a satin on bed not urine….. Well there you go hope you have better luck then we did.

Thank you for your feedback. We take cleanliness and guest comfort very seriously, which is why we responded immediately when notified of your concerns. Which only came after you decided to depart, you did not reach out prior to departing. Prior to your stay, the home had been professionally cleaned and inspected, and there was no evidence of fleas or bedbugs reported by previous guests or found during inspection afterward. While we understand bites can happen from many outdoor sources in a beach environment, no photos or evidence of fleas were provided to help us investigate further during your stay. Regarding the mattress, the mark referenced was a permanent fabric satin/discoloration and not an unclean or unsanitary condition. We understand appearances can still be concerning, which is why we would have gladly addressed any issue had we been given the opportunity before you vacated the property. Once notified that you wished to leave, we immediately began heading to the property to inspect and assist We always encourage guests to contact us right away during their stay so we have the opportunity to resolve concerns in real time whenever possible. I made no further attempts to contact you because my requests for photos or other evidence went unanswered.

The perfect little spot!

This place was perfect for our family of 6. If i had to change anything it would just be newer tv's in the bedrooms so you can sign into your Netflix or other streaming apps. However it has cable and your at the beach so it was fine for us! Thanks nikki for responding immediately when i reached out.
