Splash Resort's amenities are quite unique among Gulf Coast resorts and there is something here for everyone. There is a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi located right next to the main kids play area where the water slides and enormous bucket that dumps hundreds of gallons of water every 45 seconds. There is also a state of the art fitness facility overlooking the pool and lazy river. There is a poolside Bar & Grill with tables by the pool and a reasonably priced menu. High Speed Internet access is available many common areas around the resort, including a Wi-Fi lounge area with comfortable seating. There is an Alvin's Island beach apparel, accessories and surf shop, a mini grocery store, coffee and ice cream shop located onsite near parking deck; giving Splash just about everything that most guests need on their vacation so that they need not leave until they are ready to check out.

Amazing trip!

This condo is located in the middle of all the fun! It was perfect for our two small children (9mths and 2.5 years old). The pools have welcomed shaded areas and the onsite cafe is reasonably priced. The beach chairs included were a really nice touch. Extremely kid friendly condo with no breakables in reach and A high chair and pack and play provided in the room. Would 100% stay again. RES-27064

Wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful time, unit was clean and as described. The resort was great and was perfect for a vacation with small kids. The master bed has a mattress topper on it and I would highly recommend getting deep pocket sheets because with the slightest movements the sheets come off the corners of the bed (this is our only Complaint). Communication was great, getting to the unit and the access was easy. Would stay here again.

Family Spring Break

This condo was perfect for our week at the beach with two adults and two toddlers. The condo was clean and exactly as advertised. It had everything we needed. Communication with the owners was easy. I would gladly come back to this resort and unit again.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our time At Splash Resort. We can In during a Hurricane just south. Four Star was great to keep us updated on what to expect. Our room was exactly as advertised. Everyone was pleased with the beds and slept well. The kitchen had everything we needed. A+ rating we would stay here again

Great time

Love the apartment. Couldn’t find tv remote for living room. Someone told us living room and bedroom worked both tvs. Found it under bed when we were leaving. Still great time.

Splash resort

The property was not clean! When we arrive there is a ton of sand in the spare bathroom. One of the bunk beds didn’t have sheets on it they were shoved under the covers and the comforter was made over it. The master bedroom bed had sand in the bed. I asked the property manager some questions before my anrrival and his responses were rude and uninformative. There are a lot of chairs in front of the condo so if you want to set up a tent there is very minimal space to do so unless you are ok with putting it behind 3 rows of beach chairs.

Just Ok

We stayed in this unit for six nights with our two kids, ages 4 and 8. The condo building, as expected, was older, we were disappointed to find the advertised amenities like the coffee/ice cream shop, arcade, & restaurant were not open. The gym had minimal equipment, and the parking pass policy was changed without notice to per car instead of per unit. While most pools were heated to 78°, the kids was freezing. In our specific unit, the air conditioner was not working. Four Star was good at communicating and provided fans since the back room had no airflow. The issue was not resolved during our stay. It wasn’t super hot out, so we could open the doors, but there were no screens on the sliding doors, so we had some birds visit our room. Between air conditioning repairs, water heater repairs, housekeeping showing up on the wrong day as well as on the day of checkout, the keypad code changed an hour before the check out time, almost locking us out without our luggage. All minor inconveniences but added up to not make the most relaxing stay. We did notify Four Star, but we received no compensation for the inconveniences. I understand things happen that are out of anyone’s control but we were more disappointed by the advertised amenities that were not open those were big reasons we booked this location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit, 906 e, was a nice location. Everything was clean, and it had working washer and dryer, which is very helpful with 5 kids. Like other reviews, it did have sand on the floors you can feel walking barefoot, but there really is no escaping that because you are in a beach resort! Sand is everywhere. The sheets were clean, and there was an extra set for the pull out couch, which we did not use this stay. I did use the sheet to cover the couch, as it does show it is older and looks like it needs to be cleaned. The sheet was more for my piece of mind on the furniture used by multiple people (yes, my OCD is showing. With 4 kids staying in a room, there was not a ton of space for their luggage, but there is a closet and it had luggage racks, so that was helpful. I also had a small cot I brought for my 5th kid, and it fit just fine in the master bedroom, as is was spacious. The bathrooms are good size as well. One thing we found out, it has a small water heater! So you will run out of hot water after a few people shower, or 1 kid just stands and wastes all the hot water... but it reheats pretty fast. Just waiting about 30 min inbetween rounds of showers will allow everyone a hot shower. Just don't wash clothes on hot while people are showering!another thing we learned was you need to push the door all the way shut when you come in or out, or it doesn't really close. The unit had pots and pans, plates, cups, and all the things you need to cook a meal. We bought paper plates and utensils just to avoid washing dishes so much. There are grocery stores within an 8-10 min drive. The resort itself could use an upgrade. The pool area needs to be pressure washed and different areas, even the entrance over the bridge is begging to be scrubbed with an SOS pad. There doesn't seem to be very many maintenance/cleaning people around. But, the kids had a good time. We went Nov. 15th to the 20th, so we didn't have any issues with long waits for the elevator, or heat of summer.

Fall Break at Splash

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over all it wasn't bad. The bunk beds were not sturdy. They seemed to sway a lot if a child was on top. My son was not a fan and slept on the pull-out couch. The master bathroom had 2 lights out and a screw coming out of the shower knob. The hallway light also did not work. The TV in the 2nd bedroom only being a ruku TV was not ideal, but we made it work. The kitchen was barely stocked (room for 9 guests but barely had enough plates and silverware for 5 of us). The bottom bunks had sand still in the beds, not sure if the sheets were changed or its just the beach saying an early hello. The master bedroom was clean and comfortable. There were just a bunch of little things were issues, but not enough to ruin our get away. We enjoyed the beach and the beach attendants were above helpful for our 5 days. They helped me take our wagon up and down the stairs and made sure that we had close chairs for my 85 year old grandma. Would we stay at this condo again? Possibly, but was not as maintained or stocked as the 4 othes we have rented in the past 7 years at Splash. We really enjoy the family atmosphere and the closeness to everything with out being in the middle of downtown PCB.
