Beautiful, spacious home in quiet neighborhood (called the "spa zone"), with the most incredible, unobstructed views. A true oasis in the desert with large, sparkling pool & spa to shed the stress of city life and refill your tank.
Stylishly appointed & decorated property with FULLY stocked chef's kitchen to get food-creative, and luxury beds for your most restorative sleep. Cozy spa robes and slippers. Art supplies. Books and games. Etc.
Mission Springs Water District in Desert Hot Springs (our home and pool water) voted BEST WATER IN THE WORLD! (filled w/ lots of healthy minerals)
We are at almost 1400 ft of elevation (1000 ft above Palm Springs), so temperatures tend to be 5-10 degrees cooler than the Valley floor. And we get views for miles!
Desert Hot Springs is a developing town, therefore not known for its gastronomy but Palm Springs is just a short drive away with countless fabulous restaurants and great shopping.
What our little town is known for is its amazing mineral water HOT SPRINGS, which is why it is also called "Spa City". Our property happens to be located in the "spa zone" with several spa hotels walking distance. The hot mineral water emerges from the ground at 120-160 degrees F and has to be cooled for use. Most resorts offer affordable day rates to enjoy their peaceful setting and magical waters.
For the GOLF LOVERS: we have a great course in Desert Hot Springs, located about 10 minutes from our house (Mission Lakes Country Club). Also a 9 hole course (The Sands) that's even closer.
Also, there are lots of great hiking trails in the area, and several right behind our house or at the end of our dead-end street.
15-20 min to Palm Springs, 40 min to Joshua Tree.
20-25 minutes to Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert.
30-35 minutes to Indian Wells, Indio and La Quinta.
25-30 minutes to Cabazon Outlets.
20 minutes to Costco.

オーナー : Magda and Nathan
I was born in the beautiful Canadian city of Montreal (yes, French is my first language) and raised, along with my brother, by an incredibly strong & resourceful single mom. Worked in the retail/business side of the fashion industry for almost 15 years, until I decided to relocate to sunny California to pursue my creative passions. How that happened is too long a story for this bio... ;-)
Here in southern Cali, I've mostly been focused on design: jewelry, interior, graphic, web and loving every bit of it. I also met the most amazing man, who became my husband, partner, adventure buddy, teacher and best friend (he's a dancer, choreographer, carpenter, cinematographer, etc...)
Together we have traveled the world, been landlords, remodeled several cool spaces (doing all the work ourselves) and created a life I am beyond grateful for.
Buying this beautiful desert home was a 5 year project for us, and we got the keys just before the pandemic hit. We spent a year and a half lovingly remodeling, upgrading, decorating and stocking our new dream home.
The property is so incredibly special -- peaceful, relaxing, recharging, nurturing -- that we knew right away we wanted others to experience its magic... and they have! (*we've been on other rental platforms for a while)
We know how difficult it is to carve time out for self-care in our (everyone's) busy lives, so we intentionally create an atmosphere of luxury and pampering, a spa-like vibe for every guest.
Our greatest gift is knowing people who visited Dovesong left feeling a little more rested, a little more present, a little more joyful, a little more... themselves.
I look forward to hosting you and sharing the gifts of Dovesong with you.

Our home is located in Desert Hot Springs, just up the hill from world-renowned "Two Bunch Palms" resort, in an area called the "spa zone", at the end of 2 dead end streets. We love the peace and quiet, and the fact that it's outside of town (yet 5 minutes from grocery stores, pharmacies, etc).
DHS is a developing town, so doesn't offer much in terms of gastronomy (about 7-8 decent restaurants)... but we are only about 15-20 minutes from world class dining in the city of Palm Springs, with countless fabulous restaurant & shopping options!
To us, this is the best of both worlds: peace and quiet at home, yet close to a great, vibrant city.
Oh, and did I mention the VIEWS...? What we captured in our photos doesn't even come close to the real thing. You'll just have to come and see for yourself...
