Aloha when you stay at most vacation rentals they DO NOT supply any paper goods. We are going beyond by giving. 2 rolls of towel paper and 2 toilet paper. We also have a few coffee pods so you can have coffee in the morning . If you felt the Ohana was as dirty I wish you would have bought this to Ruth’s attention so she could have addressed it and made it feel like home!

I appreciate your honest notes about the driveway, night sounds, and amenities. Being in a tropical setting, the wildlife sounds are definitely part of the experience, but I understand it’s not for everyone. Regarding the bed, most of our guests find it very comfortable, though we know comfort can be a bit subjective—we’ll keep your feedback in mind. Thank you for your feedback. I do want to clarify a few important points for accuracy. This is Hawaii—not the mainland—and homes here are often designed very differently. At our higher elevation in the Kona coffee region, temperatures are typically cooler, and air conditioning is not commonly needed. Instead, homes are built to take advantage of natural airflow with louvered windows, which is exactly how this cottage is designed. Our listing does clearly state: * There is no A/C * The proximity of the other ohana on the property * And the presence of the coqui frogs, which are a natural and well-known part of evenings here The layout, including the shared access path, is also shown in the listing photos so guests can understand the setting before booking. Hawaii offers a unique, open-air, tropical experience that is very different from mainland expectations. While many guests love the natural breezes, sounds, and setting, we understand it may not be the right fit for everyone. We do our best to represent the property as accurately as possible and encourage all guests to review the full description to ensure it matches what they’re looking for. Wishing you the best!
