Great property and house right on the beach. Very old house but charming. We stayed during a heat wave so it was super hot for a couple of days but they did provide lots (10) fans which helped. Great location, close to 32nd street grocery store and one block from the beach boardwalk path. We would stay here again!

It was an older property, but did not lack in any BEACH side charm. It was perfect for my family and we had a wonderful time.. the patio was spacious, and the extra fenced in sand yard was great for my grandkids. I would rent this property again and again.

Still happy with our stay. Second stay at this beach house . Small kitchen but other than that nice. If you like older beach cottages a must stay. Clean and choice location.

Nice stay

It’s a pretty busy spot, and there is a lot going on here. The boardwalk isn’t in front of this property which is great, but there is added traffic on the side as it is beside the road up to the beach. It was really cozy.

The main reason we chose this property was its beautiful oceanfront location, and the views were truly the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the property itself did not meet our expectations. The home felt quite out dated and appeared to need maintenance and updating in several areas. There were noticeable signs of wear and tear throughout the property. We also encountered ants in the kitchen of the upstairs apartment, which was disappointing.In addition, there was less privacy than we anticipated, as the owner was frequently present around the property. This made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy our time there.While the oceanfront setting is beautiful, we did not feel that the overall accommodations provided the value we expected. The condition of the property did not align with the impression we had when booking, and we believe updates and better maintenance would greatly improve the guest experience. Unfortunately, based on our stay, we would not choose to return.

Great views and access to the sand and boardwalk

The house was as described. It was great! Plenty of towels, utensils and pots/pans. The provided soap/shampoo was helpful as well! There were many fans which were needed because a lot of the windows do not open. That would be our only complaint. Roughly half the windows don't open and the majority of the others need an additional piece of something to hold them open. One window in the casita was broken from the start. It was locked at only an inch open which greatly restricted air flow. On hot days this made for a very uncomfortable few hours in the late afternoon. Other than that we had a wonderful time!

Beach front cottage

The property location can't be beat! The house is somewhat dated as would you expect. The BBQ was charcoal which proved to be a challenge on a windy day but we did get it lit. Propane would b nice. The house accommodated all 7 of us with room to spare. Thanks and we will book again.

Rental Review

I found the house to be very dated and in need of a good cleaning. The furniture and carpeting is soiled and needs cleaning. The sofas smell and also need a good cleaning. When we arrived one of the blinds covering a window was broken and leaning against the wall. I would definitely not rent this house again or recommend it to a friend or family member.
