The panoramic ocean views were breathtaking from every angle, and we loved watching the sunrise each morning right from our private balcony. The sound of the waves created the most peaceful atmosphere.The condo itself was beautifully furnished, spacious, and spotless — perfect for our group. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which made it ideal for families or friends traveling together. We were here for a girls weekend and loved how spacious it was. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the open living area was perfect for gathering to enjoy meals or just relax after a day on the beach.We also loved the resort amenities — easy beach access, heated pool, and friendly onsite staff who made everything simple from check-in to checkout. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants, exploring Tybee’s shops and art galleries. This condo truly has it all: comfort, convenience, and the best views on the island. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Potential of being a five!

This condo is in a wonderful location on Tybee Island. Top floor corner, beach front property! It was extremely easy to get to the beach from the facility. Easy access to good restaurants and shopping.The condo is nicely furnished. Beds are comfortable, furniture is in good shape, and space was perfect for our group.There are some repair opportunities that should be considered that would have us rate the stay a five. One of the kitchen cabinets was broken and had not been repaired. The ice machine was a bit quirky. Some of the sinks in the bathrooms didn’t drain quickly. The screen on the master deck sliding door was ripped and needs repair. The master bedroom was very dusty, and the woodwork and cabinets in the condo need a good cleaning. Even with these minor issues, I would return to this condo. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend!

Reviewer Comments: The unit was fine, but not particularly clean - many stains and spots around the unit that demonstrated it lacked a thorough cleaning. Mildew was in all shower curtains as another example. Screen door broken in primary bedroom area. Kitchen was well stocked, except for no back up garbage bags - just the ones in the cans. Great views and location. Pool was quite small and overcrowded during our stay, which made it unusable.

I chose this neighborhood because it’s home. I moved to Tybee Island in 1978 and have been part of Beachside Colony since its construction in 2000. Over the years, I’ve watched this community grow while still maintaining the relaxed, family-friendly feel that makes Tybee special. Guests love this location for its direct beach access, walkability, and central mid-island setting that makes getting anywhere on Tybee easy. In addition to managing condos here, I’m also an owner at Beachside Colony, which means I care for this property the same way I care for my own. The location offers the best of the island—easy beach access, a true resort atmosphere, and a place I’m proud to share with guests.
