Bad check in process. Could not get into the room. Called for help and received a call back two hours later. Jacuzzi in bath did not work. Air was locked at 72 degrees. With all the sun coming in the windows we needed it at 71 degrees. View was great as advertised.

Ocean view was perfect! We loved sitting on the balconies and watching the sunrises, ships coming into the harbor along with hearing and watching the waves is so relaxing. This location is highly recommended for anyone wanting oceanfront views on Tybee!!! Love Tybee Time!!! The only thing that was a little hard for older ladies, was no step-in shower or higher toilet. It was difficult for a couple of us to get in and out of the shower.

We found Tybee and Beachside to be a hidden gem. The restaurants in town were excellent too and the small town shopping and entertainment was great! The chair rental company was first class and the girl who setup our chairs took into account the weather, our needs to be close to the beach access and our friends joining us a day later. Tybee is a must visit! The condos were nice, but our bathrooms needed an update. They were older and outdated. The condo was great otherwise and clean when we arrived. For the price we paid; the bathroom should be clean and nicely updated and nice. But overall Beachside was awesome and we will be back.

The reception was also held at The Deck and it was so nice having our condos in the same venue. These condos were perfect for our family! The service we received was exceptional. Every time one of us called the front office, the staff was always kind and helpful. The manager was easy to work with and proffered. The condos were roomy and clean. We loved the pool, easy access to the beach, and walking to The Deck for meals. We highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Tybee Island and since discovering Beachside Colony Resort, we love it even more. The location of BCR, along with the Deck Beach Bar and pools, makes the stay so convenient, so relaxing and pleasant. The walk to the beach is such an easy walk. We seek out oceanfront properties since we live in land locked IN. Sitting on the balcony and watching the sun rise, watching the beach walkers and the tide ebb and flow are highlights. We are planning to return in the near future and BCR will be our first choice for accommodations. While our review of BCR is positive, we were disappointed in the condo we selected. The description of the three bedroom condo said that one bedroom had a queen sized bed. It was only a double, which was not comfortable. The cleaning could have been better; cabinet doors, in places, needed cleaning, hair in tub drain was unpleasant, some kitchen equipment should be tossed and replaced. However, this is the only time we have been disappointed in a condo that we have rented at BSC. As stated previously, we will return, but not to Beach House 434.

I chose this neighborhood because it’s home. I moved to Tybee Island in 1978 and have been part of Beachside Colony since its construction in 2000. Over the years, I’ve watched this community grow while still maintaining the relaxed, family-friendly feel that makes Tybee special. Guests love this location for its direct beach access, walkability, and central mid-island setting that makes getting anywhere on Tybee easy. In addition to managing condos here, I’m also an owner at Beachside Colony, which means I care for this property the same way I care for my own. The location offers the best of the island—easy beach access, a true resort atmosphere, and a place I’m proud to share with guests.
