We loved how close this property was to the beach, just steps away from the sand. Can walk South to Douglas Beach too.

Such a nice little getaway on Lake Michigan. Fredrick was very kind and accomodating, and there was just so much charm to this property. The beach was great and we were really surprised by how big the beach area was. Highly recommend, thanks Fredrick!

We had an incredible stay, and highly recommend this property. The private beach, beautiful sunsets, and convenient proximity to Saugatuck are all highlights. The walk through this beautiful neighborhood was equally amazing. Bluff views, gorgeous homes / properties, and quiet pace made this stay a perfect escape. The host and all planning were a bonus !!

This was an excellent vacation! Just what we needed to relax; and we needed to relax!!!The property was interestingly unique; everyday noticing something new! We were celebrating Rosalie’s 77 birthday. Her health has not been good lately and we try to enjoy every moment. Our host was welcoming from beginning to end!!! It is difficult to explain how much of a positive difference that made in our vacation. We recommend this stay for everyone!

Friendly host and beautiful location

The location was ideal! The outside had 3 deck levels all with an amazing view of the lake. The host had boards, chairs, and a bunch of amenities to help you enjoy the water. I will definitely be back again.

Fell in love with the Mermaid Casita!

What a gem! We stayed at the Mermaid Casita over the 4th of July and had a wonderful time. The Casita was charming and unique and we will definitely be back again. The beach was gorgeous and the fireworks show was fantastic. The host was accommodating and great with communication.

Absolutely spectacular place! The art style in the casita is eclectic and really cool. All of the little touches (the epoxy counters with beach scenes, the tile work on floors and walls, the multiple decks with spots that are shaded at different times of the day) add up to one of the best places we have ever stayed at. The host is very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Magical Getaway

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mermaid Casita, and I must say it was a truly magical experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the whimsical and artistic atmosphere of the place. The Mermaid Casita is beautifully decorated with an artistic & eclectic flair. The attention to detail in the design and décor is evident, and it truly feels like stepping into a fairytale. Although it was cold, our toes did meet the lake monetarily. We will be back when it is warmer. Frederick is a wonderful host. Come check out this gem, it won't disappoint.
