Auntie Anna’s Country Retreat Serving Up Cinnamon Rolls!

Auntie Anna’s Retreat is making homemade Cinnamon Rolls 3 mornings a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 8am a hot pan of rolls will be brought to your door. Auntie Anna’s is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home. Set on our 34 acre property, along with our personal home which is to the north surrounded by trees. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the slow pace and simple pleasures of living in the country.

As you drive in let your worries slip away. Breathe in the fresh air, enjoy coffee on the porch, and settle in to relax for a while.

We love Auntie Anna’s for its private large backyard with fire pit, grill and sitting area, with lovely antique quilts as a backdrop to the cozy home.

Our stay at Auntie Anna's far exceeded all expectations! The home is impeccably appointed and is so comfortable. I slept better here than in my own bed, ha. This will not be the last time I stay here for sure.Felicia is a fantastic and attentive host. The cinnamon rolls were amazing. Everything was top notch, including the Keurig coffee maker. She even threw in some bonus sausage balls that were absolutely delicious. A buddy and I stayed here while on a fishing trip to Lake Fork and Lake Quitman. Boat launches to both lakes were within 15 minutes of the home. At night, we grilled steaks on the open fire pit and truly relaxed. Beautiful property!

Wish I had taken a better pic of the cinnamon rolls. They were warm, fresh from the oven so the lid was a little foggy due to the cold temps in the morning.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The host was very kind and accommodating with a request we made and we're so grateful for it. The house was very clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and the beds and furniture super comfy. It was decorated so cute too! There was Christmas decor up as well which was so nice and cozy We were treated to delicious cookies, cinnamon rolls, breakfast meats and biscuits and gravy! There was a couple of sweet dogs that would greet us every time we pulled in and the kids loved them. We have stayed in many rentals through the years and this one definitely makes the top of our favorite list. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Awesome little place

This place is the cutest cottage perfect for a getaway! This wonderful women brought us homemade cinnamon rolls and had a Keurig with yummy coffee! It was clean and the beds were comfy as can be. Love this place I am going back ASAP.

A sweet retreat

It’s hard to put into words how special Auntie Anna’s is. It’s even more beautiful in person. Felicia is the most gracious, kind hearted host. I feel so honored I was a guest there. It was hard to leave but I’m so grateful and will never forget my time there.

Great Place

Everthing that I needed was there and more. A peaceful country setting. Very spacious inside and out. Loved the antique decor in the house.

Perfection!

We stayed in this beautiful cottage for a week and were completely taken in by its beautiful country location, vintage decor and comfort. Felicia spoiled us with yummy shortbread cookies upon our arrival, scrumptious cinnamon rolls one morning and biscuits and gravy with bacon and sausage another day. The master bed was super comfortable. I could go on and on with the positives about this place. We will definitely be back!

Home away from home

Our stay was perfect. After a 12 1/2 hour drive we arrived at night (which I don’t normally like to do) to a beautiful country home, perfectly lit with candles and scones on the table. It was a dream. Everything was decorated beautifully, clean and very comfortable. We watched the chickens on the porch swing and even got to eat some eggs. I would definitely stay here again

Best Ever

We have nothing but praise for this cottage. It is a place where peace and quiet abound. We loved rocking and long talks on the front porch. The free roaming chickens and the sweetest little cat ever greeted us on our arrival. Our host was so sweet. She has a touch for decorating the little house and she bakes the best hot cinnamon rolls we had ever tasted. Loved our stay.

Fall weekend getaway!

Wonderful and just perfect! The owners have an amazing home and have thought of every detail! Felicia went above and beyond to make our Anniversary extra special with chocolate covered strawberries, cinnamon rolls and breakfast for our stay! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness! Family Staycation

From the time we walked in we felt right at home. There were snacks, breakfast items, and a few drinks to start our stay. The kitchen was stocked very nicely with all you need to cook a meal. The host brought us a delicious breakfast several mornings, and was just a delight to talk to. The home itself is decorated beautifully, and very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the chickens, and playing in the yard. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and the host was top notch. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we’d love to come again:)

Amazing Hosts

My husband and I stayed at Auntie Anna's over Labor Day weekend and loved every minute of our time there. Felicia is an amazing host and was so kind and responsive! The homemade cookies that greeted us on our arrival and the delicious cinnamon rolls that she brought over on Saturday were so yummy and such a special touch. The property is so peaceful, and the house has everything you could think of. We loved sitting on the front porch watching the chickens and bunnies. We even spotted an armadillo and a mole. Highly recommend and we would definitely make a return trip!

The Experience of Serenity and Peace!

From the beginning of our time to the end of our stay at Auntie Anna's Country Retreat was a beautiful experience. The home met more than our expectations and although the pictures that we saw when we were booking were beautiful, it was even more beautiful and eloquent when we saw it in person. There was plenty of room for all of us and we had many of our meals at the home. We even bbq'd on two occasions. It was very hot and humid in Texas; we are from NM where it is hot and dry. We could not wait to come indoors to cool off; the air conditioners were more than adequate to make us all comfortable. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated; country and antique style and has all you need to enjoy your stay. I especially loved all the reading that was made available. I finished reading a book while I was there and we used the games that were available. You must try her delicious cinnamon rolls; they are the best. We ate all of them! Felicia is a very gracious host and such a beautiful person who was easy to talk to and helped us to feel comfortable. We loved the chickens and the farming fields and the sound of tractors reminded us so much of home. We would stay here again! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Auntie Anna’s Country Retreat is a unique and warming experience. Upon arrival the setting approaches an unbelievable fairytale. When walking up onto the front porch you are welcomed by two white Boston rockers that are inviting you laced with a quilt. Upon entering the front door you are greeted by a warm and gentle home setting. Felicia’s personal touch with the decor makes you feel welcomed in any area of the house. She and her husband, Tommy have left nothing to be needed. The experience is just like being at home without being at home. The total experience at Auntie Anna’s is a desire that anyone would be pleased to experience. You will just have to go and see for yourself. Thank you Felicia for a wonderful stay. The hospitality you showed us was breathtaking. Oh! The cinnamon rolls aren’t too bad either. We’re already looking forward to our next stay.
