Welcome to Off the Hook our little piece of paradise located at Bass Captial of Texas, Lake Fork! Our tiny home is located close to a private boat ramp & fishing dock! Kick your shoe off and relax, we have just put in a new propane grill and new fire pit with a grill on top too, enjoy the outdoors and eat outside on the picnic table! Firewood & Smores station provided just bring the fam & enjoy! Thank you for taking the time to check us out, and we hope to see you soon!

Fisherman we are less than half of a mile from a private boat dock located in our neighborhood. Needing some bait? Check out the Minnow Bucket right down the road from the neighborhood, they also have a public boat ramp there! If you are looking for a Bass guide we have some recommendations for you! Don't forget your Bass Boat it fits perfect in our parking area!


For all you thrift junkies out there we are located 30 minutes from downtown Sulphur Springs, 15 minutes from downtown Quitman, 30 minutes from downtown Mineola, 20 Minutes from downtown Alba, 20 Minutes from downtown Emory, these are all filled with tons of boutiques & antique malls and fabulous mom & pop restaurants! We are 45 minutes from the Daddy of them all, Canton, Texas "First Monday Trade Days"! We are also located 35 minutes from Lindale, Texas Miranda Lamberts hometown! Check out her winery and boutique the Pink Pistol, it never disappoints!

Bring the kids! Take them down to the neighborhood pool and clubhouse and have a fun day in the sun!
Don't forget your fur baby! We are pet friendly!

The aesthetic of the home was so pleasing to the eye in photos on the website that that is what sold me on staying here to be honest. We were not disappointed at all with anything about our stay. One suggestion to tell others is to bring your own pop up seating for around the fire pit. That was the highlight of the property-being able to do that in the afternoon and evening. The house felt spacious and cozy. The bed was very comfortable! Thank you again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, fisherman-themed getaway! The space was small but perfectly suited for two, with charming décor and a warm, inviting feel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. It made for a relaxing, peaceful escape—we’d definitely stay here again!

The pool was nice. The area is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay! We had fun fishing the lake. The propane grill was great. The AC stayed nice and cold.Drawbacks: the kitchen is decorated cute but lacking in usable dishes. There is too much decoration for the limited counter space. There was no big skillet for cooking. The shower curtain wasn’t long enough so it made a mess every time we showered. Properly manager was difficult to reach. We tried to extend a second night and never received a response. Also, no s’mores bar. There was a shelf behind the couch that was too low in our opinion. My husband sat back and whacked his head pretty good, that also knocked a decoration down onto our 13 year old head. Luckily they both walked away with just a bump.

Everything was great. Lovely decor and very comfortable accommodations. It is clear the hosts have been thoughtful in their designs and their vision for the place. Would gladly stay here again when we’re back in the area.

Comfortable, great provisions, amazingly decorated, this place was AWESOME! Must be owned by an artist or home decorator. So fun! Games, puzzles, excellent Internet, gated community, quiet. Loved it.

Great Lake Weekend

The house has everything you need and things you didn’t know you needed! Decor and all the extras make it feel homey! Neighborhood was quiet and an easy walk to fishing dock and boat ramp! Fencing gives nice privacy while enjoying the porch, fire pit, and grill!

Stayed a few days for fishing at Lake Fork. Perfect for us. Clean and had everything we needed. Will try to book again later on this year.

Great Little Space

Nice and clean little space. Had a bad rainstorm. Power went out but only for 20-30 minutes. The neighbors were great, asked if my electricity was out. Said they are taking care of it. Nice community. I would rent again.

Great quiet getaway

Great quiet getaway spot for a couple or single person. The cabin was clean and the king size mattress was so comfortable!! Neighborhood has a private boat ramp and fishing dock. It’s also a short drive to the new Caney Point recreation park. Definitely will be coming back again.

Two Retirees Fishing Trip

We stayed two nights at the tiny home. It was so cute and welcoming. We found all the amenities (except the S’mores setup), but were pleasantly surprised to see things not on the list (charcoal/lighter fluid, seasonings, etc.). The bed was glorious! A storm blew through so we weren’t able to fish on Day 2 & decided to depart a few hours early. You will love your stay.

misleading

The property said that there was a swimming pool and a hot tub. The hot tub we never saw the swimming pool wasn’t open very disappointed. That is why I booked this stay because of the hot tub. It made it sound more like it was on the property where we stayed, we were distance away from the lake also. Probably stay at this location again.
