Cockroach Infestation and Unfulfilled Refund PromisesOur experience at this property was extremely disappointing. Shortly after checking in, we discovered multiple cockroaches throughout the home. At first it seemed like an isolated incident, but it quickly became clear that there was an active infestation. We found cockroaches in the kitchen and living areas, making the space feel unsanitary and uninhabitable.We contacted the host immediately and provided photos. While the host acknowledged the issue and assured us we would receive a refund, we ultimately had no choice but to leave the property and secure alternative lodging.Unfortunately, despite repeated promises from the host, we are still waiting for the refund nearly three weeks later. The lack of follow-through has added even more frustration to an already stressful situation.This property may have potential, but the pest problem and the unresolved refund have made this a very unsatisfactory experience. I hope the host fully addresses both the infestation and their communication practices so future guests don’t encounter the same issues.
