Our completely renovated home boasts captivating mountain views, providing a sense of seclusion while still being conveniently located just 8 miles from Woodstock, where you can explore dining, shopping, and numerous attractions.

Nature lovers will find even more to cherish, as Seven Bends State Park is just a short distance away, offering public access to the North Fork of the Shenandoah River. Our family really enjoyed the Riverfront Retreat! It’s very clean, beds are comfy and has everything you would need. We cooked and grilled out. We sat in the hot tub and around the firepit at night. 2 days we spent floating down the river on tubes and kayaks. Caught lots of fish. It was so much fun and relaxing. Amber was a great host. We would definitely stay again!

Short walk to the bridge for plenty of quiet river space. Minimal tidying before check out rules. Responsive host. The basketball court, volleyball net, and water floaties & kayaks are a huge plus!

Very nice place right on the North Fork of the Shenandoah river. Very quiet interior, little noise transmission to bedrooms from great room.Features as described.Our family had a very pleasant stay. The river was wadeable for my grandchildren to splash in, and deep enough for the kayaks and floats to paddle up and down the river.Other tourist activities were only a short drive away. Skyline drive, the National Forest, the Smithsonian's Udvar-Hazy annex of the Air and Space museum, too many hiking opportunities to list, several caverns.Very secluded, not a busy tourist place at the house itself, but much to do nearby.

Wonderful stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. The location and yard were beautiful. The kids enjoyed the basketball court and the other sports equipment. The house was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
