Completely updated! Newly remodeled carriage house behind Historic home located on Music Row close to downtown Nashville. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The property was once owned by Country Music legend Chet Atkins. Only a couple of blocks from Vanderbilt, and close to restaurants, bars, museums, and all Nashville has to offer. Free parking in the alley behind the unit.
The space
Lots of room! Large fully equipped kitchen with coffee bar, full-size refrigerator, full-size range/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. We also have a laundry closet with a washer and dryer. The family room has a Wifi connected Smart TV (Roku and other free apps installed, bring your own favorite paid streaming channel).

We have a pull-out couch in the largest bedroom for overflow sleeping but be aware the mattress is not very thick and may not be comfortable for large humans.
Guest access
Self-check-in with electric lock codes, to ensure safety for all guests. Full access to the entire unit, no shared spaces.

PARKING:
Free private parking is located off the alley behind the unit for one vehicle. Street parking on the main street is available on an unlimited basis between the hours of 4:00 pm and 8:00 am, limited to two hours between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

There is a newly opened pay lot right across the alley that will accommodate extra vehicles, You pay with your phone and a QR Code. Rates are $5 for 2 hours, $10 for 6 hours, or $15 for one day.

We have other nearby parking options if you need them for overflow vehicles, just ask.

Quiet neighborhood in the Vanderbilt University area. Several restaurants within walking distance. Parking onsite, but was convenient to use ride-share services to other parts of the city (we did not have a car during our stay).

Everything was terrific! The only thing I would say is that it requires a little tweaking for 6 people. There is a bench in the bedroom that can be used at the table. Also, in the cold months you might need a few more blankets/bedding if you had 6 people. But for 4 this place is perfect! Location is terrific. Communication and service was great!

Our family stayed here so our daughter could attend a few days of Vanderbilt’s volleyball camps. This was nice and close driving-wise for us. It was also less expensive and more spacious than having to get a hotel room for five. This worked out so well for us and we’d definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect stay. The unit is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Beds are comfortable. My sister and I met up here to visit Nashville. The location was convenient and had several great restaurants that we walked to in the evenings. The location is quiet and safe. And the host was extremely responsive and helpful in telling us where my sister could park as the unit only comes with one parking space. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great deal. It’s in a fabulous part of Nashville. You see people walking late at night, alone (safe). This area borders Vanderbilt University and the recording studios. Tons of little places to find coffee nearby, CVS and Starbucks you can walk to, and extremely close to what they call “Midtown” with a variety of restaurants. The “old time Trolley” drops off and picks up 11 minutes away walking (probably faster for someone younger!). I have a hip issue and the walking was fine for me. The apartment was very clean when we got there. No issues, and everything worked. I was very confused about parking because the picture in the VRBO shows the front of the building. You can’t park there. It wasn’t immediately obvious which apartment we were assigned. I had to dig through the welcome email to find that. We had apartment C, where you park in the alley in the back. No issues with parking, just wish there were some visuals. The trash is in the back alley and was never picked up on Trash day. Add some hot days, and flies got annoying. That is really nit picky stuff. Overall - fantastic and worth it! I’d return. Whole family was happy and comfortable.

Fantastic day.

This is such a perfect location when visiting Nashville. You can see everything you want to see without even hopping on a freeway. Everything was clean and restful. Recommend this property for a great Nashville trip.
