Now managed by Bloomer Estates Vacation Rentals on the Washington Coast, The Akari Bungalows offers an enchanting coastal retreat. Nestled in the heart of town, Akari Bungalows #4 is a beach studio designed for relaxation. The king bed beckons you to unwind, while the private deck lets you embrace the coastal atmosphere. Enjoy entertainment with a TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. The river rock gas fireplace adds warmth, and the well-equipped kitchenette (No Stove/Oven) caters to your needs. Wake up to the aroma of locally sourced organic coffee beans for a delightful start. Ideal for two adults, this studio ensures a peaceful and memorable stay by the beach.

Beach Access:
• Short walk to the beach
• one block from downtown

Pets:
• This unit is Dog-Friendly for up to two well-behaved dogs under 30lbs.
• $25 per dog per night cleaning charge, plus taxes.
• Not declaring your dogs will result in a $500 fine per dog
• Dog bowls and poop bags available

Parking:
• Parking for ONE compact car
• No garage available
• Additional public parking is available along the Bolstad Beach Approach and in three large lots on Oregon Ave. S. between 3rd St SE and 5th St SE in Downtown Long Beach.

#4 was very clean, quiet and comfortable, except for the heat issue. It was cooler when we stayed and there was no heat in the room. Fireplace didn't work and the "ghost" thermostat on the wall did not work either. Finally got the fireplace running but it is an on and off manual system. It really needs to be hooked to a thermostat. There was a space heater added to the room which helped a little. It was, on the other hand very quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. I would be happy to stay there again, hopefully in warmer weather.

Great weekend getaway spot

This is a great location for a weekend getaway. We were close to everything - the beach, restaurants, and everything else. This particular cottage was cute but very small, so be prepared. The toilet is not properly sealed to the floor, so we had to keep the door closed because sewer gas smells would waft into the room. We would stay here again but not in Cottage #4.

This is the absolute BEST location in Long Beach. You can walk to the beach or any of the cute shops. There’s a really delicious bakery/deli you can get to in less than a couple minutes on foot! We loved it! Someone commented about an odor in #4. That was not an issue for us. We did not have any odd smells. The bathroom is a little tight but honestly it has everything you need. The deck was a wonderful spot for morning coffee and a croissant from Dylan’s Cottage Bakery. That’s a must stop place. The host was wonderful to work with and attentive. I would love to stay there again! You will not find a better location.

Cozy, Clean, and Convenient

Plusses: You are a block away from shops, restaurants, mini golf, etc., a short walk from the beach or you can drive and there's plenty of parking, property is in a safe place, bungalow is clean and smells nice. Great kitchen area with what we needed to heat up leftovers. Loved the convection oven unit. We also loved the adirondack chairs on the deck. Bed is comfortable and we got good sleep. The property manager is available by text or phone and checks on you often to make sure your stay is going well. Drawbacks: Ladies, if you need a large amount of space to get ready, it's not happening here. The bathroom is tiny. If the property put a mirror above the dresser, that would be ideal so that while one person is showering, the other can spread out and get ready there. Only one person fits in the bathroom at a time (think RV bathroom or smaller). It would be nice if the bathroom had more hooks to hang towels on and a shower organizer to hang on the showerhead for necessities. I put my products in the sink and popped my hand out to get each product as needed. For me (I'm not high maintenance), this set up was tricky but doable. I wish they had a smart TV rather than just cable, but we found movies to watch on the cable provided. Overall, I gave this place five stars because the drawbacks weren't non-negotiables for me. This was perfect for me and my fiance and we will be back. The plusses were big for me especially walking werever we wanted to go...love that. It's also only a
