This is a wonderful place to stay ! We loved it. Sleeping in the loft is so cozy. The sauna and outdoor fire pit was very nice. The place is a wonderful get away.

Serene stay!

Just far enough off the beaten path to feel remote but convenient to surrounding cities. Quaint, clean, and perfect! Can’t wait to stay again

Cute and cozy!

This was a great stay. It is on top of a huge hill, so I recommend bringing a truck or SUV.

Very clean with modern amenities. It was a short weekend for us, and we were disappointed to not have time for the sauna... It looked amazing!The Wi-Fi struggled, but the host left HDMI cables in case you brought downloaded movies from your computer (they also have a DVD player and several DVD options). Regardless, my verizon hotspot allowed for seamless entertainment.We had a stormy weekend so considering the location is on a hill, 4x4 was not necessarily required, but it did come in very handy as we noticed some of our non-4x4 neighbors struggling.We did not bring a pet but did note the fantastic fenced in area along with a supplied water bowl, towel, and pet bed for a small to mid-sized companion.While feeling very remote, the location was only 15 minutes from downtown Sylva.To summarize, it was a beautiful stay!

Such a cool place!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Locust. The property was better than described. When we pulled up we were more than surprised to see a sauna that wasn’t yet on the listing. The house was great. Plenty of room for both of us and our two dogs. We enjoyed sitting outside in the hammocks both during the day and at night to check out the stars. French press coffee is the way to go(If you were wondering)! We ran into Jonathon, one of the managers, who was working on one of the other properties and he was so nice to talk to and went out of his way to make certain that we had the best stay! Such a wonderful person to meet. Go! You won’t be disapointed.
