Cozy cabin overlooking Dillsboro and miles of mountains

Inviting mountain cottage with incredible front porch view of Dillsboro and the surrounding mountains. One bed, one bath and fairly secluded, making it perfect for a couple's getaway. Located only minutes from the Tuckasegee River (excellent fly fishing spot) and the towns of Sylva and Dillsboro and all that each has to offer. Cherokee and the Harrah's Casino are only 15-20 minutes away, and opportunities for outdoor recreation can be found throughout the area and all of western North Carolina. Sylva and Dillsboro have plenty of shopping, restaurant and entertainment venues these days, and various brew pubs can be found here now. The cottage has a full kitchen, washer and dryer and wireless internet with a comfortable living room for watching TV (streaming), reading, resting or visiting.

A true hidden gem! This cabin offers exquisite Mountain views, overlooking the quaint town of Dillsboro. Many hours spent on the covered porch enjoying the peaceful and tranquil surroundings . The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. If you are looking for a serene mountain retreat, with stunning views and plenty of charm, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

Great little cabin in the hills. Beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning from the deck. Bed was comfy. Just as listed. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful view, quiet and serene. Place is next to another house which I didn't realize, but no issues. Took a moment to find the right house, but it was also dark when I arrived. Would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was easy to find and its location was peaceful and relaxing. We felt very comfortable in the area. Check-in was easy. My favorite part was sitting on the deck...beautiful mountain scenery. The cabin was just like the pics--- no surprises. It was clean and all info we needed was provided. I truly liked the layout. The only suggestion I would make might be updating the den furniture. It was comfy, but hard to get up off the couch. However, we thought this cabin was at the perfect spot for us to plan day trips to the many interesting area sights. We hope to return in the fall. Thank you for providing this for visitors in your atea.

Very cute and comfortable cabin. Wonderful views. Paved road up to the driveway was a real plus! Great for me and my husband and our beagle Buttercup. The pack porch has a gate and the railings are not open so you can have your dog sit outside with you easily. Had every amenity needed -including a paper clip!!! Very close to Dillsboro by car. Cute shopping and restaurants. Instant hot water heater was appreciated. Great cabin vibe but not too “rustic”. Also appreciated that the yard and the side of the road was mowed so you could walk outside with your pet without going into tall vegetation, but you still felt like you were in the woods.
Beautiful View even in the rain!
Buttercup loved the covered porch!

Such a gorgeous location, it was so hard to pull myself away from that gorgeous porch view! Very convenient to WCU and going in to Sylva or Dillsboro. All the comforts of home and very quiet, peaceful surroundings.

Great place!

Very nice cabin close to WCU. We stayed here homecoming weekend and the place was great. Very clean, very easy check-in, and the owner was very easy to communicate with and responded right away to any questions we had. We will be staying here more.

Property had the best view!!! Pet friendly and very easily accessible to downtown, Cherokee, and Whittier. Just a slight side note, to no fault of the owner because we didn’t let them know, right when we walked in, there was dog poop on the rug, so it make us a little hesitant on the cleanliness side. But we’re dog people and we know it happens so we just cleaned it up and moved on! We also ended up having to search for the tv remote, which we found under the couch. It wasn’t a big deal, but was a little different having to go looking for it. Great spot for a weekend getaway though! Would recommend (:

There should not have been ANYTHING on the rug when you walked in. Our cleaning service handles things like that and making sure the remote is in place to be easily found. I'm sorry that wasn't the case here, but ordinarily everything is cleaned and organized to a high standard.

The cabin was perfect! It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It is close to cute shops and restaurants and just a short drive to the casino.

Great view, well outfitted

Had a very pleasant stay, ultra clean place, well equipped, even has a dishwasher and all the rest. Great view of mountain valley and the burg of Dillsboro, which has several dining choices.

Weekend Stay

Small cabin. Perfect for two people and their dog. Had all the amenities for a pleasant stay. The back deck was especially comfortable and inviting. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

Nice Views and Convenient Location

The cabin has really nice views of the surrounding mountains and the picturesque town of Dillsboro from the deck. The area around is quiet. The cabin was clean and well furnished. It was a perfect stay for 2 at a great price.

Loved our mountain stay!

This house is perfect for a mountain getaway! We absolutely loved the view of Dillsboro from the back porch. The house was clean and so cozy! We will definitely stay here again in the future! Highly recommend!

I'm an attorney from Macon, Georgia and spend most of my time there. I manage this property for other family members after we bought it from an old family friend who passed away in recent years. I enjoy the outdoors and love sports such as football, basketball and baseball. Reading, spending time with family and looking after two cats occupies most of my time away from work. I am enjoying hosting simply for the challenge of doing something different that allows others to experience locations near and dear to me and my family.
