Cozy but needs work
We really liked this place. We got there at 3 in the morning so I wish I hadn’t of changed my check in time to that day. We got charged for a day we wasn’t even there, but that was our fault, not the owners. It has a nice little set up. Good place to sit and eat dinner. Nice little living room with a couch, love seat, and recliner. My only issue was the wifi service down in the living room. The wifi was really bad down there. We could not watch TV down there without it freezing up. I contacted the owner but they said that no one had ever complained about it before. I would suggest a router extender for the place. I bought one for $50 but could not use it cause it was a shared wifi. Anyways, I could see that they were doing work still on the place. It looks like the ceiling had recently been fixed but that wasn’t any bother beyond just looks. The upstairs had 2 bedrooms and a nice size bathroom. Two problems with this though…..we could only use one of the bedrooms as the other was locked. Didn’t like that due to the fact that a big mirror was on the wall with the locked bedroom. I asked about that and they said it had supplies in it. It was just weird to me. Secondly, the bathroom shower head was taped into the wall. Had never seen anything like it. The bedroom we slept in was great. Also, VRBO site says hot tub as well but there was not one. But we enjoyed our stay. Hopefully they fix the things I mentioned. I’d give it a 4 out of 5.
