Danielle booked the night before wanting to check-in. I had another booking request at the same time as Danielle’s, but chose her as she was booking for 8 nights. 6 hours after accepted her booking she tried to cancel. Cancellation policy is 14 days. She kept complaining that she is homeless, but yet wanted to cancel. I lost two bookings that night due to her inability to read the cancellation policy before booking. Not even a hotel will let you cancel less than 12 hours before checking in. I would never allow her to book again. My personal opinion is after she booked she found another place cheaper and tried to change her mind. Also, her communications were all over the place and didn’t make sense. Poor clientele!

This guest said nothing about the place being dirty at check in or even at check out. She didn’t say anything until I reached out 3 days after she checked out. I contacted her because they removed the plug in air freshener out of the wall and placed it on the fireplace mantle. The oil from the plug in leaked out onto the mantle and stripped the varnish from the mantle leaving it damaged. The place was clean my housekeeper sends a video after each cleaning. The sheets for the pull out bed are washed, folded and put into the closet for guests. Saying that the sheets were dirty on the pull out bed is a lie. I have before and after video proof. This guest also lied on her reservation and said 2 adults when in fact there was 2 adults and 2 kids. She also didn’t follow any of the check in or check out instruction's. She even sent me a message admitting in writing that she didn’t see any of the messages I sent her on VRBO because she turned off the notifications from VRBO. If there was a problem with cleanliness, she should’ve said something immediately. Not 3 days after check out and after I called her out for damaging the fireplace mantle. I would never rent to this guest again because she has no accountability for her actions and following instructions. I will be filing a claim for the charges to repair the mantle against this renter.
