Welcome to Castaway Cottage located 2 houses down from the Gulf beaches of Anna Maria Island. Castaway Cottage is a ground level half duplex with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and its own private patio surrounded by tropical landscaping where you can enjoy the heated pool, outdoor shower and Weber grill. Enjoy a day at the beach with the provided beach wagon, chairs and umbrella located in the garage. Inside you will find the fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for 6 is open to the living area for easy entertaining. In the evening, you can retreat to one of the two master bedrooms where you will enjoy our comfortable king size beds complete with 600 thread count prima cotton wrinkle free sheets. The master suite has its own private patio with complete outdoor shower. Linens, towels and beach towels are included in the cottage.

Lizzie Lu's Island Retreat is a full-service property manager on Anna Maria Island to ensure our guests enjoy some of the nicest, well stocked homes on the island. For an additional charge, we offer GEM cars among other services. Rest assured we are here to assist as needed in the most efficient manner possible.
While vacationing on Anna Maria Island, please adhere to our local rules and regulations for our residential community which are included in our homes as well as our arrival information.

City ordinance requires us to inform you that you are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Perfect

This is a great place to go if you love the beach. The house is as listed. I initially thought the pool would be too small but it was perfect for 3 to 4 people to get in and cool off. This was by far the cleanest and most comfortable VRBO we have stayed in. I would definitely stay there again. The beach is a quick walk 2 to 5 min. Publix has great steaks if you want to grill.

First the place was SPOTLESS!! The sheets are luxurious.. the mattresses are top of the line.It’s everything and more than the VBRO description..We will definitely go again..

Great place close So close to beach!

A wonderful place to get away for 2 couples. Two large king master suites…only downfall is the sliding door to the bathroom lacks a touch of privacy…but overall a wonderful place to call home at Holmes Beach!

Great property, wonderful vacation. Everything was well taken care of and clean and very comfortable. Property owners are really nice people, very responsive and helpful. Great location only 2 houses from beach, was easy short walk each day and if we needed something was easy to run back to the house. Pool was good for 2 small kids.

GREAT LOCATION AND OH SO CLEAN

We loved Castaway Cottage at Lizzie Lu’s. It was spotless, had everything you could need and was a 1 block walk to the amazing beach. Ben was amazing to work with. He was immediate in his responses and upon my request, he arranged for a bike that I loved to use to explore the area. There is a nicely stocked kitchen with blender, nice cookware, Kuerig and coffee pot and all the utensils you would need. There is even a grill, but we didn’t use that. This cottage would accommodate 4 people, however the front bedroom may have noise from the kitchen or living room. We wouldn’t hesitate a minute to book any unit at Lizzie Lu’s.

Perfect cottage

What a perfect cottage. Everything was so clean and well maintained. The location is also perfect. We rode bikes and took the golf cart everywhere. The pool is lovely and private. We only cooked once while we were there. If you plan to use the oven make sure to pack sheet pans and roasting pans. The kitchen is a little sparse for anyone serious about cooking a meal. Ben at the management company was wonderful. We would rent the place again. Our friends loved it so much they want to purchase a home on that street!

Excellent place.

Great place for 2 couples. Private and roomy. It's very nice to relax at the pool after a day at the beach. I would recommend the home to anyone seeking a quiet comfortable stay at the beach.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway (great for families too!)

This 2-bedroom was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. It's on a quiet street a couple of houses from the beach. It includes a cute, private pool and beach toys in a wagon. Ben was extremely helpful upon arrival and answered any of our questions promptly via text. This is also perfect for a family because there is no crossing a major road. There is also a free trolley just steps from our door that goes the entire length of the island. We took this several times. We would recommend renting any of the Lizzie Lu vacation rentals along this street because of the fantastic location and great customer service.
