The condo is in an excellent location and is super clean. Has all the amenities in the kitchen to make meals. The dog beach across the street is great if you travel with your fur babies. At the back of the complex you can sit on a small private beach and watch the Blue Angels practice. If you are traveling to Pensacola I highly recommend this condo as a place to stay. Communication with the host is easy and so is check in. My husband and I will definitely stay again!

Pet friendly condo at La Bahia

The Condo is in a wonderful location. The check in was easy. We arrived in the evening and settled in. The bedroom smelled of mold and the mattress was very broken down and uncomfortable. We lifted the sheets to turn the mattress over and it was covered in red mold. We called the property manager and was told nothing could be done that night, but they could come the next day. We had to find a hotel to stay in that evening due to the mold causing respiratory problems. The next day they replaced the mattress topper with a new one and cleaned the condo again. The mattress was still very broken down and uncomfortable. The condo is dated and a little run down. The property manager said they would refund the first night and cover the emergency hotel stay. I have been in contact with them about the refund 2 times. I was told it would take 10 days and now we are on day 11 with no refund. Overall, a very disappointing stay with a very uncomfortable bed.

Cozy and comfy

Cozy and comfy!! Perfect location between gulf and bayside. Right across from dog beach. But the bayside was really nice and quiet. Would definately stay here again.

Pet friendly

The location was perfect for our family as we were traveling with teenager and our dog. A short walk across the street to one of the two pet friendly beaches. I waited to post a review as I wanted to be fair. We did have a few hiccups with the property. The dryer went out during our stay. This was a very big must need for our family. Tracy from the property management was on it. Thank you Tracy. We had someone come from maintenance that day to look and was told A repair man was needed so we had to wait until the next day. The repair company came out to fix and didn't have the part needed and had to order one. Now we were on day three with no dryer. We needed towels and they were amazing as twice they delivered to meet our needs. We were told if we needed the laundry mat to save the receipt and they would reburse us. We did have to go to the laun did the best they could.trop.worAvery

Great location!

We love La Bahia! Right across from the dog beach and not far from Fort Pickens. Condo had everything we needed! The folks who stayed before us must have had shrimp as we smelled it and found it in the disposal drain. It eventually went away. I didnt feel the need to contact property mgt over this as it was an easy fix. Property mgt was fantastic, kept in touch via text, and I knew if we needed anything we could just text them. Great stay!

Cute little condo!!! Perfect with the bay on one side and the Gulf on the other!!! Our pup enjoyed each!!! Wish it wasn’t so hot but…..we can’t change the weather!!!

Small condo, no bedding was offered for the sofa

When I arrived Thursday night it was hard to find the condo. No numbers were on the door. Big bug seen going up the stairs. Cracks all through out the floor of condo. The management offered to refund me for the nights I didn’t stay. We chose to stay because we didn’t know anywhere to go. In my eyes, the condo was not worth paying $2,000+ for . I will not be going through this site again.

1) Under amenities, it says “non smoking” and there are signs within the unit that say “no smoking.” We smelled cigarette smoke as soon as we walked in. 2) There appears to be mold growing on the wall/wallpaper in the half bathroom.3) The second night, we noticed a cockroach as long as my index finger scurrying around the living room. I tried to kill it, but the creature was too fast for me. 4) We were advised a 10 digit Wi-Fi Network code that didn’t work. We had to use an abbreviated form of it which were the first four digits. My husband noticed that there was not a dedicated router within the condo. We were unsure whether our data was secure.

Better than sleeping on the beach

Location is good. Deck furniture not as pictured, we had a rust jagged edge table dropping metal rust on deck, the did bring us a broom to clean and we then put the unusable table aside. The bed is like sleeping on a half deflated air mattress, I had to sleep on the couch. Toaster set off smoke alarm when used. Remotes to tvs do not work. Overall good location but unit leaves a lot to be desired.

Anniversary getaway

Remodeling and construction continue at this location. It wasn’t loud and didn’t bother us but there were nails and screws everywhere that we picked up for fear of getting one in a tire. Maybe an email or text informing us that our designated parking spot was being used to store construction materials would have been nice. We ended up parking out front in the gravel. I found all dishes and kitchen gadgets I needed to cook 1-2 meals a day in the kitchen. Washer and dryer worked very well. Perhaps a smart TV would be helpful for streaming Netflix etc… and I hate to say it but the mattress on the bed was not good and very uncomfortable, the pull out couch mattress was worse. Location is great, just walk across the street for the beach or just go to your “backyard” for the bay.

High school football

It is pretty basic. The TV remote was a mystery. They were putting a new roof on so it was loud during the day. It would have been nice to know that arrest ahead of time. The cord on the blow dryer is too short to stand in front of the mirror, which is too low also. We needed and got help to operate the shower. We arrived at night and had a little trouble locating the unit. The number was black ink on blue painters tape, which is hard to see at night. The bed sags! It needs a new mattress. There are not many electric outlets for people who travel with electronics. The inside of the unit was clean.

Great location

I want to start by saying the location is awesome ! I want to be fair to the owners but also to the future renters . The previous reviews are all on point . Yes cleanliness was not the best but the property management team revolved it . Yes there is construction but that didn’t affect me . Yes the unit can use some upgrading but the overall place was funcional . The beach across the street was the best I have been in a while and you can walk to it . There is a trolley that is free so you don’t need a car . You are close to everything but the beach is the least crowded in the area . The big deal for me is that the mattress wasn’t good and I did see 3 roaches . If the mattress get replaced and they start bug spraying I will totally repeat my stay .

Hidden Jem on the beach

This place is excellent. Very clean and perfect location. The water is crystal clear and you feel like you're in your own little hideaway. Yes there was construction but the workers were all very polite and considerate. We were on the beach everyday so it didn't bother us at all. It was actually nice to see the construction going on because you know the place is being well kept and they make improvements when needed. We will be back !!!! Loved it !!

Under Construction

Location was perfect, but it should not be listed while construction is going on all around the unit. Construction debris all on deck and parking lots. Had to watch for nails and screws. Deck railings were strapped on with ratchet straps. Scaffolding was outside bedroom window. Could not go on back patio at all. Sheets didn’t fit the bed. Water came in through baseboards when it rained. Window trim in front pulling away from frame. Unit needed a good cleaning. Workers started at 7 am and were loud. Would recommend , but only when complex is completely done.

Problems not identified

Our week had outside construction from 7:00AM to 5:00PM. The noise and mess was a problem. The cleanliness of the condo was also a problem from the previous tenant's dog shedding hair throughout the condo. The positives were the condo itself and the service provided by Pensacola Beach Properities staff. The above helped us enjoy the week. Pensacola Beach area is the best and I will go there again.

Perfect location

Great location! Cross the street to access beach and dog park section. Bike to the right to enter park and fort. Bike to the left to Peg Leg Pete's, Tom Thumb, and further down to Pensacola. We loved the condo however didn't realize the siding would be completely stripped with dangling gutters and workers arrived at 6:30 am and fired up their music and hammers. We picked up 10 huge nails when we were leaving so as not to puncture our tires. Fortunately we are early risers and in a good mood and the music was great. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The dryer heated but didn't dry. Bring your own sponge for kitchen, laundry soap, and beach towels. The bed was small not very comfortable. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. More positives than negatives. The condo was great. Thanks for letting us stay.

Cozy cute condo

I enjoyed the kitchen because it has all the utensils and everything that you could possibly need. I just wished the living room looked like picture that you see online. The furniture is different and arranged differently as well. But overall, we were very happy!
