Fort Pickens is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore and is a historic moment from the 1800s. Kids will love wandering this historical fort from the American Revolution.

This property offered exactly what we were looking for, a quiet, relaxing vacation. The condo was clean. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking. The views were spectacular. We were vacationing off season. It was not busy at all! The pool was huge with plenty of seating. Overall experience was excellent!

Family tradition of staying at SRD for the blue angels. The pool is lovely and short walk to the beach! This unit needed a little updating but it was prime location for us!

Perfect view condo

Quiet, serine location close to beaches and state park. Great access and wonderfully set up condo for a perfect stay. We want to stay here again! Best selection for two with plenty of choices for fun and sun.

Good location!

Really enjoyed the pool, and the walking distance to the beach. The place smelled very musty. There was mold on the bathroom walls/shower/shower curtain. The tub would not drain properly. Enjoyed the living room/kitchen area. Great view looking out back!

We had a wonderful time staying here. We loved staying close to Peg Legs. We would drive and park at the beach walkway that was just across the road. Very easy to access. Bay view was beautiful!

Enjoyed the peace, quiet, and beautiful water view. We would have enjoyed watching TV from bed, but we did not get a service response when I reported that the TV was not receiving a signal, nor were there any channels.

Convenient Location

I really enjoyed this stay, although I’m a stickler for cleanliness. The coffee pot had old grounds in it & was extremely moldy. Although it was replaced the next day, this was borderline unacceptable. The windows were also smudged with little children handprints. I’m not sure why this bothered me, but it did. It was a bit out dated & the table needs to be replaced as it was very sticky and there was a tear in the couch. The location was spot on & we’ll probably try to find something similar in this complex for next year.

The property was a little dirty, e.g. dining table was sticky and had to be washed. Toilet seat in bedroom bathroom is loose. Television did not cable had been striped.

A great place to stay

A wonderful little place to stay in Pensacola Beach. There was the interesting views of the bay from the balcony and windows and access to the beach was just across the street from the complex. The suite itself had everything we needed, and, for the most part was exceptionally clean, with the exception of the plastic shower curtain that had some mold on it, The AC was not moving air very well into the bedroom, but we discovered a fan in the closet, which solved that problem. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were all impeccably clean. This place was perfect for our needs. it was wonderful to have laundry access, so we didn’t have to go home with dirty clothes, Even though there were detailed instructions about how to get into the complex upon arrival. We still found it a little confusing, and we’re trying to get in through gated access which was actually for the Santa Rosa towers and not the Santa Rosa Dunes, condo complexes. Once that was resolved, and unfortunately, for the building management late at night, (my apologies), everything else was great. Oh, and the pool was also wonderful. Very clean. Very well-maintained.

Poor Communication

We were not given accurate disclosure of the address, parking, WiFi not working upon arrival. Required 4 calls to address issues. Required unloading and loading and unloading our luggage. The luggage carts were filthy, disgusting. The door didn’t close properly. There were signs of forced entry. Suggest new door frame and locks. This property has very old appliances - stove and dishwasher. We are in are late seventies and a little more than what we received. The 1/2 toilet had to be plunged. The master bedroom toilet isn’t secure to the floor, needs a new wax seal and bolts to secure in my opinion. There are no receptacles for recycling. The bedroom doesn’t darken to sleep, suggest window shades. The rules for exiting are too much for what we paid. Richard

The condo was very clean and inviting. Truly felt like home. It would have been nice to have access to the owners covered parking. Because of the heavy rains the parking lots were flooded. This will not keep us from renting this unit again. We really enjoyed our stay.

What kind of place limits the AC

Upon checking in, we realized the AC was not allowed to turn lower then 70°, although it was consistently 72° in the unit. Florida is not a cool place, especially after a hot day in the beach. Upon asking for assistance, the property manager blamed it on the unit owner, and offered no help. I do not appreciate limiting the use of AC on vacation. Will not be staying with Pensacola Beach Properties again.

Best Bay View!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cute little condo was clean and comfortable, but the absolute best part was the balcony and the bay view! It was peaceful and so quiet that we could hear people talking on the dock. It was a perfect spot for long weekend getaway.
