Take it easy at this unique & tranquil getaway! Surrounded by colorful flowers, native Florida plants, herbs, fruits & veggies! 2 blocks to the main street in Downtown Pensacola - Palafox St! Several restaurants, shops, concert venues, museums, galleries - you name it, there is something for everyone! Conveniently located to several beaches: Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key, and Navarre! Walking distance to the library & infamous Five Sister's Cafe with weekly specials & outstanding Sunday Brunch!
The space
This space adopted an Komodo Dragon - Travel with Purpose when you stay with us and assist in global efforts to help save this beautiful endangered species! Simple studio layout! As you enter you will see the couch/living room straight ahead. If you bear left as you enter the studio you will see a well outfitted kitchenette, king bed and a full bath with roomy shower! The gardens in the back yard are a peaceful place to retreat to AND if you are lucky you will see the Blue Angels fly over the property! Bonus - propane grill for Grilling Garden-side!
Guest access
Guest has full access to the Guest House and backyard!
The only potential shared space is the gardens located between the main house and the guest house. Also parking is another shared space. Otherwise you have the entire inside of guest house to yourself!
Other things to note
Guest house is located at the back of property. Guests can park on the street or in the driveway. Back yard is a fully fenced garden!
The main house that sits infront of the guest house is in the works of renovation and will become two more separate spaces. Inquire with your host if you are in need of accommodations for more then 2 guests!

Gia’s place was exactly what I needed…quiet, tucked away from the noise, but close enough to walk anywhere worth going. For a digital nomad’s first time in Pensacola, this is probably the best location to explore the surrounding area.Gia was sharp, responsive, easy to deal with.

I studied Human Nutrition, Foods & Exercise with an emphasis in Exercise & Health Promotion at Virginia Tech & put that knowledge to work on a daily basis as a Pilates Instructor at the only classical Pilates Studio in the OBX, The Presidio of Pilates! In addition to my education, my love for business & entrepreneurial spirit led me to Hosting! I CoHost multiple spaces in locations throughout the United States and as a Professional Referrer of hosting I take great joy in teaching folks how to start their own business hosting by themselves or with assistance. I have taught a course at the local church - The Path To Financial Freedom! I LOVE to TRAVEL - so reach out if you would like me to teach a course in YOUR home town in the US or Internationally!

Founded by Spanish sailor Don Tristan de Luna in 1559, the Pensacola Bay Area was the first European settlement in the New World. Over the centuries, the flags of Spain, Britain, France, the Confederacy and the United States have flown over the “City of Five Flags.” Highlights of Downtown Pensacola - On Saturdays just two blocks from the house is the award-winning Palafox Market from 9am-2pm, rain or shine—named Florida's Best Farmers Market by Southern Living magazine. Shop for farm-fresh produce, plants, baked goods and more at the event that's consistently voted "Best Farmers Market" and "Best Free Thing to Do!" Friday evening each month, Palafox Street—one of America's "10 Great Streets"—closes at 5pm to traffic and transforms into an outdoor festival of art, music and food. Gallery Night is the perfect opportunity to experience downtown Pensacola's thriving art scene and eclectic mix of sights, sounds and flavors. The Belmont-DeVilliers district, sometimes known as West Hill or "the Blocks," or pronounced Belmont-Devillers) is a historic neighborhood in Pensacola, centered around Belmont and de Villiers Streets. Belmont-DeVilliers is historically a center of Pensacola's African-American community, due largely to Florida's "Jim Crow" laws which took effect in 1905 and mandated segregation. It was a bustling commercial district in the early twentieth century, until a number of factors led to an exodus of both businesses and residents in the 1950s. The Belmont-DeVilliers Neighborhood Association defines the district as bordered by Cervantes Street to the north, Gregory Street to the south, A Street to the west, and Spring Street to the east. The City of Pensacola's Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) considers the neighborhood boundaries expanded south to Garden Street and excluding that which is north of La Rua Street and east of Reus Street. According to the CRA, the neighborhood occupies about 35 city blocks, or roughly 100 acres. The CRA initiated a revitalization project called the "Future Land Use Plan" that installed new sidewalks, brick crosswalks, historic streetlamps and landscaping to the area's four-block core. The project has also set guidelines for future residential and commercial development that will preserve the historic flavor of the neighborhood while promoting growth. The district hosts the annual Goombay festival! Just two blocks away is the award winning restaurant Five Sisters, part of the Mississippi Blues Trail!
