Charming Guest House at Live Oaks on the Bayou

Live Oaks on the Bayou is perfect for those on vacation, business or coming to the area for a beach getaway, wedding or graduation. The guesthouse is nestled behind our home with your own driveway and parking . Enjoy a private meal, coffee or a cocktail in the quiet serene courtyard-fountain area immediately out your front door. A wide variety of dining is a 3-10 minute walk. There is always some vegetation in bloom here and throughout one of Pensacola's most treasured neighborhoods.

The guesthouse cottage has a kitchenette with refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave and a Keurig machine for your morning coffee. The guesthouse is not ventilated so no cooking is allowed nor do we allow guests to bring their own cooking appliances. You'll want to spend time inside or outside in the lovely courtyard with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and your favorite book, phone, or computer during your down time. You will enjoy high speed internet/ wifi and a smart TV for your entertainment in the living room and bedroom. There is a security camera that monitors outdoor common spaces only. It monitors activity in the driveway area and courtyard.

You are just steps away from the gorgeous Bayou Texar and a short walk to delicious restaurants / coffee shops and much more. You will drive only about 15 mins to Pensacola Beach or Pensacola International Airport and Downtown is only a 7 min drive. East Hill is a terrific location near everything - downtown, nightlife, beaches, airport, shopping malls, movies and fabulous foods of every variety. And of course Pensacola has tons of excursions, and activities to offer.

We absolutely loved this place!! The guesthouse was very conveniently located and very clean. The courtyard is beautiful and everything inside was very comfortable. It was the perfect retreat after a day at the beach! The available beach chairs, umbrella, and towels were definitely an added bonus. We would definitely stay again!

Great Weekend Retreat

This property was perfect for a weekend retreat for me and my wife, while we were in town for a wedding! It allowed us to attend the wedding but also have a great private getaway from everybody at the same time! Great space and close to the happenings in town.

Cute guest house

Excellent location. Very quiet neighborhood. Main house guest is long term renter he was very nice with a very friendly small dog. The guest house is cozy with lots of natural light and surrounded by large oak trees and outside sitting area. Highly recommended.

Relaxing retreat

The property was lovely, quiet and peaceful. The grounds were beautiful and relaxing! Our host and hostess were helpful, kind and eager to please. Would definitely stay again, but would be sure I had more time to enjoy my stay.

Coastal hideaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. This charming guest house is cozy and quiet. We liked being away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed trips to the beach and the historic village. Lots of great food to choose from but at the end of the day it was nice to come back to such a pretty little private place. The courtyard is beautiful as well.

July Beach Trip

It was great! Very nice location with everything around us within a 15-20 minute drive with nice beaches. The property was exactly like the pictures and was beautiful, but do keep in mind you’re sharing the same courtyard/patio are with the main house so it’s not entirely secluded. All in all, it was a beautiful place to stay! Would love to come again Xx

We love the great restaurants, endless activities, water access, and beaches close by. It's also a wonderful place for walks and bike rides. We hope one of the highlights of your trip will be at our guesthouse @ Live Oaks on the Bayou. The peaceful setting with beautiful Live Oaks and tropical plants is heavenly.

There is a boat ramp one block from the property that can be accessed if you are coming here to enjoy water recreation.
