What a beautiful property! Thank you so much for sharing this space with us. Everything we needed was there and it was big space. My uncle brought his 46 foot RV and was able to park on property with electric which was so nice we could have the whole family in one location.

Great cozy house on the river

Great place to relax, very quiet on the winter, perfect if you like canoeing or kayaking, needs some remodeling/repairs, but otherwise great to stay.

Family fun

We had a wonderful family vacation! We had an easy check in and out process and communication was wonderful. We loved the docks and despite the rain most of the week, we shared lots of laughter and fun!

Mother’s Day Gathering

We arrived easily to the property and everything was very clean. The owners thought of everything and we had all the supplies we needed. The river was fabulous and the kids really enjoyed the swings and the pool. We had amazing weather and the owners were easily reachable and responded immediately to our questions. The room set up was great and allowed plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our trip. Will be back again next year for sure.

Best Birthday little getaway ever

Stayed here for a birthday weekend with some friends and family and it was nothing short of perfect. Loved every second of it. This was actually my third time staying at this house and did not disappoint. Pool was a perfect addition and everything was so clean. Owner was so responsive and accommodating! Will definitely be going back again! Thank you so so much!

Repeater

Our second time here and we will be back! This is the most absolutely wonderful place for relaxing, fishing and seeing wildlife. The last time we were thrilled with seeing manatees, this time was river otters and an eagle. Can't wait to get back!

Great Christmas Memories

My family lives in different cities and came together for Christmas in this wonderful river property in Florida. The house was perfect for our family Holiday. Family Vacation

The property was as described in the listing. We had a great time. The only down side is the distance to get to places to visit. It was a full hour to get to St Augustine and a little more than two hours to the Kennedy Space Center. There is a lot to do on the property but not much nearby if you want to sightsee.

Maintenance and upkeep

The property was very beautiful, very quiet, very relaxing and very spacious however, Six bedrooms and only two baths made it a lot difficult for 16 people, but we made it work. Please consider adding additional bathroom or two as far as outside maintenance, the building could use pressure washing screen door screen was tore pet door missing and one screen doors in operable picnic bench was broken when we arrived, no crabs were biting, but we had a great time and enjoyed the Facilities.

Great View

There were 8 of us and we cook every night and found everything to do so. Plenty of everything. response from owner was prompt when we had a question. Too cold to swim but the pool looked inviting. Lots of parking. I could of stayed longer. Very relaxing view.

Nice property for large family wanting to relax.

Property was spacious. Kids liked the pool. Everyone loved fishing. We seen Manatees, caught a few sting rays, bass and catfish. We liked the fridge downstairs it made it convenient to keep drinks in while we were outside. The house had everything we needed. The only downside would be the internet is very slow.

4th of July Stay

Stayed over the 4th of July. Great location near the river. About hour from any good beach but lots of stuff to do at the property. Owner is very responsive, we had some pool issues and Kelly sent someone right over to fix it. The house has some flaws but nothing crazy and the price is right. You can tell the owner is making improvements. If you stay on the 4th you can see lots of fireworks from the dock. This house is great for all ages.

In July 2019 we purchased this property to have a private getaway for ourselves and family to relax, go fishing, crabbing, shrimping or visit one of the many attractions and activities that are in and around the area. The home is easily accessible from the Jacksonville International Airport which has been ideal for us to fly in, grab a rental car and be poolside within an hour. We have been on a mission to update and upgrade the property with big projects being completed each year and smaller projects every time we visit when possible. Big projects completed thus far: EXTERIOR - Installed Pool, Pool Deck & Completely Fenced the Area; Screened Back Porch, New Furniture in lower screened porch; New Grill; Installed Solar Lights on Long Pier; New Table, Chairs, Umbrella & Rug for Concrete Patio; New Swivel Rocking Chairs and Rug in Screened Porch off Dining Room; New Furniture on Front Porch; New Hammocks & Swing in yard; Built Beer Pong Table. INTERIOR - New Smart TV's for Living Room, Den & all 6 Bedrooms; Painted both Bathrooms; Appointed Kitchen with New Dishes, Silverware, Glassware, Cookware, etc.; Numerous other smaller projects and repairs. Projected New Updates: Ceramic Tile Floors in Bathrooms Fall 2022; New Fire Pit; Raised Walk Way to the Long Pier; New Roof. Soon will be going solar as well.

The bonus plan for us was to see the manatees swimming under the piers and at the water's edge. The property also boasts 780 feet of water frontage on the St. Johns River which is the Best Bass Fishing in America.
