This was the perfect rental. The location was perfect to take a short day trip anywhere in the White Mountains or a short walk to the lake. The property and home were amazing, clean, and exactly as described. We really enjoyed the screened in porch!!! We saw some deer in the front yard one morning and saw a mama bear and cubs just up the street. Plenty of wildlife around. We hope to stay at this same rental next time we are in the area!!

Great place to stay on/near Lake Winni. Easy to find, plenty of space for our family of four. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

What an adventure! A marvelous location with surprise visits from wildlife parents and their offspring: first a doe with young fawns and then a momma bear with her 3 roly poly youngsters parading through the yard! Fabulous!! The outstanding porches were a perfect spot for bird watching as well as for dining, reading, and playing games. Very nicely outfitted with comfortable furniture. The entire house was welcoming with ample space, cheerful decor, and a well supplied kitchen. The host was extraordinary. An excellent communicator, Walter responded to every question promptly and invited us to not hesitate to contact him any time day or night with our questions or concerns. His friendly and often humorous interactions made it seem as though one was conversing with an old friend.

My family enjoyed this property. The home was very comfortable and located in a peaceful location near abundance of outdoor recreation. My family was thrilled with our visit to Diane's Baths near North Conway, NH. This was a unique cascading stream creating pools of water for swimming and bathing. Walter Nugent was an outstanding host, answering all text and e-mail messages promptly.

A Perfect Place to Unwind

I booked this house for the days leading up to my good friend's wedding, and I am so thankful that I did! It was perfect for connecting with each other and celebrating our friend before she got married. The screened in porch was the perfect location to prep and pack wedding favors, for the bride to spend a quiet moment and finalize her vows and for the maid-of-honor to prepare her speech. We spent a lot of time on the beach, just a few minutes away from the house - close enough to be able to run back quickly if we needed more sunscreen or hydration! The host was wonderful and flexible to coordinate with! Should we ever find ourself in the area again, we know where we'll be staying!

I also use this as my vacation house. It is too beautiful to keep to myself. It is a gem tucked away yet extremely close to the lake. I have rented in the past with my children prior to purchasing this house and the memories are tremendous.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Very quiet at the house yet great neighborhood to walk through. A very safe area with a typically quiet beach and boat ramp 1/4 mile from the house.

この宿泊施設の特徴

I don't think there are any properties that are over 2 acres that are as close as I am to the water. I feel like I am in the middle of the woods yet short walking distance to the lake!
