Summary:
Sunny and cheerful downstairs apartment filled with color and fun vibes! A 5 minute-walk to Winooski circle, where restaurants, cafes, breweries and shops await. Easy 5 minute drive or 15 minute bike to Burlington, and just a few minutes by car to I-89. Live like a local, with off-street parking, washer/dryer, and a big back yard right out the door.

The Neighborhood:
The house is located just a block in from Main Street and a few minutes walk to the Winooski circle with bars, restaurants and cafes, as well as the Four Quarter's brewery. You'll find nearly everything you need for a fun stay within walking distance.

Important note! While our unit has the convenience of being ~10 minutes drive to the airport, this rental (and most of the town of Winooski) is in the flight path for both commercial flights and jets that fly out of Burlington International Airport for training. While the sounds from commercial flights are pretty mild, you are likely to hear jets on weekdays (usually around 9:30AM) that may disrupt Zoom meetings or wake you up if you are trying to sleep in.

Getting Around:
We are located just a few minutes drive from I-89 and 10 minute rides to the Burlington airport, downtown Burlington, or Essex Junction. There is off-street parking for 1 car in a parking lot behind the house, and street parking is available for any additional vehicles. Winooski is a great town for both walking and biking.

Interaction with Guests:
My cohost and I both live within 10 minutes of the unit and are available if you need anything at all.

This is a nice place. The living/bedroom has a minimalist/Grad.Student/TA groovy vibe. The cable is easy to understand. The bedroom has a comfy bed & linens with a wardrobe & chest of drawers - good storage. The kitchen has a camp/lake house feel. We didn't use the electric stove BUT the fridge was nice, cold, & big - including ice trays and ice receptacle. No dish washer (we only used glasses, so no biggie) but a big washer/dryer (also not used but nice to have). The bathroom is clean & spacious with shampoo & conditioner, hair dryer, a very tiny bar of soap, and just two bath towels for two people. The neighborhood, like most of Winooski, is/looks a bit tired but very accessible to the highways, UVM, and Burlington downtown. Check in was easy. We checked in after dark and the walkway around to the entrance could have benefitted from some sort of walkway lighting. Our hosts were very easy to contact and flexible (thanks,guys!).We'd stay here again and you should too!Cheers,-K&W

The house was clean, neat, and cozy with lots of sunshine. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the washer/ dryer was a bonus. The bed was comfortable.

The apartment was very clean and everything we needed for preparing and cooking meals was available. We traveled to family and some sites and it was a good centralized location for us. We plan on saying in this apartment on future trips.

Great place, great location!

Enjoyed our 4-night stay at this apt. that is well-located as you can walk to restaurants and shops - and a short, easy drive to Burlington. Appreciated all the thoughtful details (extra spices, coffee, plenty of kitchenware & appliances, etc.) and the space! Living room was comfortable & bright. More space in-person than the online pictures convey. Hosts/owners were helpful & prompt in replying.

Pleasant stay

This apartment is my favorite rental in Winooski - pleasant, well lit, spacious enough, clean, interestingly decorated avoiding clutter and highlighting local culture. I stayed 2.5 weeks during a hot spell; the air conditioning worked well. Location is convenient to everything.

Nice, well maintained apartment

The apartment is comfortable and the kitchen supplied well so you can cook meals easily. Dave was very responsive as a property manager and provided good instructions for accessing the apartment. He was also flexible in approving us to stay with our dog and cat.

Perfectly Appointed, Super Clean, Great Location!

I stayed in this apartment with my dog while visiting my daughter at UVM. The location was within walking distance to the center of Winooski, and only a 10-minute drive to UVM, so perfect for us. The apartment was so clean and fresh, every aspect of staying there felt comfortable. It had everything we needed, including a full kitchen and even a dog bowl for our dog's food! We could have easily stayed a week. We happened to be there during a snow storm and a plow came at least twice to clear out the parking area, which was a huge help. The property seems really well managed. We'll definitely rent from them again!
