My wife and I booked Mimi Sands for a last minute anniversary weekend. The property location was excellent for walking around long sands, steps from the beach easy to get to excellent restaurants like Mimmo’s and Fox’s Lobster House (Best Clam chowder in the country!). The property was clean, parking easily identifiable with enough room for our SUV. Kristen is an excellent responsive and welcoming host. Great location for a couple looking to enjoy York Beach!

This little gem was EXACTLY what my friend and I needed for a night away. It was in an unbelievable spot, incredibly clean, and so cozy. I fell asleep to the sound of the waves and woke up to them with a breathtaking view as we ate our breakfast. There were personal touches all over the place. From the fan in the bedroom to the speaker system, this adorable get away did not disappoint!

Hosting at Minisands is incredibly special to us because York Beach has always been part of our story. It’s where we grew up going to the beach, where so many of our favorite memories were made, and where our love for the ocean began.

Today, we’re creating those same moments with our own girls—long beach days at Long Sands Beach, sunset walks, and everything in between. Minisands is our cozy coastal cottage just steps from the ocean, designed to feel simple, comfortable, and deeply connected to the beach.

While we love to travel and explore, York Beach continues to bring us back to what matters most—time together, fresh ocean air, and the kind of moments that stay with you long after you leave.

We’re honored to share what we love about York, Maine with our guests and hope your stay at Minisands becomes part of your own collection of unforgettable beach memories.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose this neighborhood for one simple reason—you can’t beat the location. Being just steps from Long Sands Beach means our guests can wake up to ocean views, walk straight onto the sand, and truly experience the best of York Beach without ever needing to get in the car.

It’s the perfect balance of relaxed coastal living and convenience—close enough to walk to Short Sands for shops, dining, and entertainment, yet far enough to enjoy a quieter, more peaceful beach experience.

Whether you're here for sunrise walks, surf days, or simply to unwind by the ocean, this spot makes it effortless.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What makes Minisands unique is how effortlessly it brings the beach into every part of your stay. Located just steps from Long Sands, your “front yard” is the ocean—wake up to the sound of waves, step outside, and you’re instantly on the sand.

The experience goes beyond location. Minisands is thoughtfully designed to feel both cozy and elevated, blending coastal charm with carefully chosen details that make your stay comfortable and memorable—from ocean views right from the living space to a welcoming deck that becomes your go-to spot for morning coffee and sunset unwinding.

After a day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower, relax on the patio, or settle in for a quiet night with the windows open and the ocean breeze flowing through.

It’s the kind of place where days feel easy, time slows down, and the moments—big and small—are the ones you’ll remember long after you leave.
