Sleep in the captain's cabin and feel the light swell of the water. Explore the nearby centre of Amsterdam. Visit the restaurants, markets, and cafes of the Eastern Harbour District. And then return to the tranquility of the ship. This stylish and modern houseboat is exactly what you are looking for while staying in our great city!

This beautifully designed houseboat comfortably sleeps up to two guests. You have a private entrance to your bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, living room and roof terrace.

The bedroom is bright and well lit, with a comfortable double bed, and a tv. There is a fully equiped bathroom with a rain shower and a toilet. The living room has a stunning view over the river. In the kitchenette, you'll find a small refrigerator and provisions like coffee, tea, sweets and eggs. Upstairs there is a sunny roof terrace where you can have your breakfast or laze around with a good book.

The houseboat is centrally located in the Eastern Harbor District, known for its beautiful architecture, canals and bridges. The houseboat is on a quiet street, but there are a lot of nice bars and restaurants in the area. It’s located close by the Central Station and the Red Light District is within walking distance. It has great accessibility for car, bike or public transport. Public transport is just around the corner (trams and busses), with direct connections to the museum square and all other major sights. Bike rental is close by. In a few minutes you’re at all the sights that Amsterdam is famous for.

Beautiful, central location

The boat was very clean and close to bus/ tram routes, and coffee shops. Mofadja was quick to answer any questions, and provided a lot of info before arriving. Totally unique experience staying on the boat!

The best stay in Amsterdam

In a quiet area which was incredible to get away from the city. A quick Uber to downtown. The boat is shared with the host so mid-day noise but is totally fine. Was incredible, showed up to a bottle of wine to sip on the deck of the boat. 1000000% book this.

Amazing, Authentic Amsterdam Experience

We absolutely loved our stay on this houseboat! It’s much bigger than it looks and the host was kind enough to provide us with a bottle of wine. The location is a much quieter area that is about a 15 minute tram ride into the center of Amsterdam so it was nice to escape the bustling city at night with the option of restaurants and shops still nearby. Overall, highly recommend if you are able to!

Eine tolle Nacht auf dem Hausboot

Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar! Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und alles war ganz toll vorbereitet. Das Schiff liegt etwas 15 Minuten mit der Bahn vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Man kann auch einen ausgedehnten Spaziergang bis zur Innenstadt machen - kein Problem! Die Gastgeberin hat uns noch richtig gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt in Amsterdam gegeben. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder!

Pleasant stay on the water in Amsterdam.

Beautiful 2-level space located within the bow of the family home (a small ship). One’s quarters are completely separate from the vessel’s full time occupants. The space is modern and clean, with wide open views over the river IJ. I biked there, multiple times back and forth to the city center. Pleasantly located away from the crowds, but an easy bike to the Central Station and main Canal Districts. Bike rack just onshore. Guest must be able to navigate spiral staircase connecting upper & lower level, accept the subtle movement of the vessel, and be happy to warm the space as needed with the space heater provided, which worked very well to make a comfy space on the water. Suitable for 1 or 2 guests. Host is very professional and responsive.

The Eastern Harbour District is truly unique. It's part of the center of Amsterdam, but the area is very quiet. The architecture is beautiful. And there are many great restaurants and bars.

On the outside it looks like a classic ship, but on the inside it's a modern and luxurious house. Check the photo's, but it's even better in real live.
