Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Perfect location and so unbelievably peaceful, wonderful helpful and communicative hosts from the minute we booked. Excellent size for 2 people and was fully equipped including the welcoming bottle of wine and the fact the heating was on when we arrived late on a chilly night! Cannot find any faults with this accommodation and if when we return to Amsterdam we hope we will be able to stay here again.Highly recommended

Great quiet location, extremely close to trams, restaurants, and grocery. Fully stocked kitchen, iron, hair dryer, and many other amenities to make the week comfortable and convenient. Will be looking to stay again next year!

The house boat was lovely. The space was immaculate. The kitchen was nicely appointed. The only minor issue was one of the blinds, adjacent to the table, were broken so we left the blinds closed. The property management company was responsive to VRBO emails though there was often a delay. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I attended a conference in Amsterdam. Our stay was excellent overall. The location is fantastic and the house boat is charming. We had a functional kitchen and were also close to different restaurants and shops. We enjoyed sitting at the bistro table with a glass of wine.

Great houseboat and location

Had a nice stay. Enjoyed being on the canal and watching the boats go by. The house is in a great location for exploring Amsterdam. Lots of places nearby to eat and drink.

Perfect location

This houseboat is picturesque and located close to transit, restaurants, and grocery/convenience stores. Would definitely stay there again if I’m back in Amsterdam! The host was friendly and communicative.

Great location and unique canal experience

My wife and I loved the canal boat. Watching the boats and the birds go by was very relaxing. Several very good local restaurants are near the boat.

My sister and I stayed at this floating apartment for five days and after a seven day bike and boat from Bruges to Amsterdam. It was relaxing and perfect walking distance to get to just about anywhere in the city. It was nice to have a kitchen to prepare food and the living/dining room space was nice to hang out in. Just right for two people. I would recommend staying here.

Relaxing on an Amsterdam Canal

Very comfortable accommodations in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance to much of central Amsterdam. A fantastic last stop to a three week Europe trip.

Great Stay!

The houseboat is gorgeous! The check in process was so great, with Diana meeting me when I arrived and walking through everything I needed to know, including the local shops and grocery stores. The houseboat itself had everything I needed and was in a great location. Highly recommend!

Perfect for a Couple

We had a perfect stay at this houseboat! The location is ideal, nice quiet canal and easy walking distance to everything. The boat is spacious and well equipped. It is on the sunny side of the canal, so pleasant to sit on the deck & enjoy a glass of wine after a long day of exploring. We would easily stay here again and highly recommend it!!

Unique experience

Our stay on the houseboat was great. The neighborhood was great with lots of restaurants close by, easy access to markets, trams, etc. The houseboat itself was very comfortable - great table outside for dining for 2, comfortable furniture and bed, nicely appointed kitchen. It was fun hanging on the deck and watching the boaters coming up and down the canal.

Perfect place to stay in Amsterdam!

We stayed 4 nights before boarding a Rotterdam cruise ship. This charming houseboat is in the perfect location, clean, spacious, well equipped and has a lovely deck where you can sit and enjoy the boats pass by. Very peaceful and close to the major sights. Many good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Ubers were easily able to find us. Loved our stay, the hosts were also helpful in arranging taxi for us from the airport!

Perfect location, fun experience!

My husband and I had a lovely stay on the houseboat. It was a unique experience to get to stay on the canal while visiting Amsterdam for the first time. The location is perfect with everything you need a walk away. We also rented bikes, which was a kick and made getting around much quicker. The place was clean and well maintained. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

Unique, quiet, and comfortable

What a delightful spot in Amsterdam! Very comfortable bed and living space. Bathroom spacious and modern. Kitchen had everything one needed and easy to cook there. We used the deck outside to sit at the table and share a bottle of wine while the boats passed by. Our Host was very responsive and pleasant. Highly recommend!

A great way to experience Amsterdam

Our stay was terrific. The houseboat is in a perfect location, close to shops and neighborhood restaurants. It's also within walking distance of museums and other attractions. The houseboat itself makes you feel like part of the canal community. It was clean, and had everything we needed. We'd absolutely stay here again. (Bonus: you get a front-row seat to the parakeets flying down the canal every evening at dusk.)

Wonderful Property!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lady Jane! We were fortunate enough to be able to check in early and take a nap after our long flight which was very much appreciated. It was very nice to have a “home base” that wasn’t a hotel room and one that was immersed in Dutch culture was even better. The Lady Jane’s location is excellent- close to parks, restaurants and museums. Next time we’re in Amsterdam, we will certainly check if the Lady Jane is available for our stay!

Nice location, walkable to many attractions yet peaceful and quiet

We liked this location as our first trip to Amsterdam. The boat was clean and comfortable. My 18 yr old daughter and I slept fine in the bed together. I would have loved a bit heavier, or second blanket, for warmth and comfort.

Lovely,spacious Houseboat and neighborhood

We enjoyed 2 weeks on the Lady Jane. The houseboat had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. We loved that there was a short walk to two quaint Italian restaurants. We also enjoyed the ice cream shop that was close by. Most days we were out, but the one day I stayed on the boat, the small deck was just right to read my book and wave to the boats on the canal. The main street had many shops and restaurants, and it was only a 15-minute walk to Museumplein and Vondelpark.

4 Great Days in Amsterdam!!!

I had been to Amsterdam many times for business, but my wife had never visited before. We loved our days taking in all the sites and places to visit, and we loved the place we stayed in! It was a little outside the busier areas of the city center area and felt a little like a residential neighborhood area, which we loved since we could be in the true city center area with a 5-10 minute walk. Our only frustration, and it was minimal, was the communication with the property manager a week before arrival and the day of arrival, but overall, we still give the place a 5-star rating. Thank you!!
