Great Weekend Get Away

The property is properly represented online, clean and in a great community with friendly neighbors. Short walk to the beach that is very clean with beautiful views. Communications with the property manager was excellent, my family and I are already planning a return trip to this property.

Perfect Leland House

Super comfortable, well appointed house with great outdoor spaces. We played corn hole, sat by the fire pit under a star-filled sky, and enjoyed the beaches and towns and sites of the area. It was great!

Great Leland location!

This property is perfectly located- short walks to town and the beach! The home is wonderfully decorated and appointed and a perfect spot to relax. The home is cozy yet very spacious in a very quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views of the lake just a step from your doorstep. A small slice of heaven for sure - this location exceeded our expectations.

A Trip Worth Making!

I grew up spending summers at my grandfather’s cabin on Big Bass Lake in Irons, MI. I had not been back to MI since my grandfather passed in 2014. With 3 children of my own now, I secretly hoped they too would fall in love with the breathtaking MI lake shores...and they did!! From the time we arrived, we were greeted by the most kind & welcoming neighbors. I genuinely cannot even tell you how sweet they were! The house itself was so cozy & filled with character and charm. I loved ALL of the local artwork that the owners displayed throughout the home. It was very clean & had games, legos, children’s books & my 4 year old son’s favorite, Nerf blasters! We had more than everything we needed during our stay here. Other than the sandflies (leave it to us to pick the week that the flies were the absolute worst!!) there isn’t anything negative I can say about our say….except we wished we would have extended our stay a little longer. The house is steps away from the lake and a short walk to downtown Leland. We had the best time & even found a few Leland blues and Petoskey stones! The weather was perfect & it did my heart well to be back on the great lakes of Michigan. Sidenote: Halfway through our 9 hour drive home, we were in a car accident.Everyone was ok(our vehicle was no longer drivable and had to be towed away.We were stuck at a hotel for a couple of days until we could get things sorted out & in a rental car to get us home. Despite it all, we hope to return very soon!
