SOUNDSIDE Avon — Windlass Ct. — When it’s time to press pause on everyday life, escape to HATTERAS HIDEOUT, a peaceful five-bedroom/three-bathroom perched on a wooded lot in a quiet cul-de-sac. For those who dream of sinking their toes into the ocean sand, kiteboarding the gentle swells of Pamlico Sound or catching dinner on a morning fishing run, you can have it all in this centrally located Kinnakeet Shores home.
Bringing a boat? There’s room for it in the under-the-house parking area with plenty of space. Avid anglers will also love the outside shower and fish-cleaning station with water and lights, and the utility sink, refrigerator, and racks to store your fishing gear just inside on the ground level. An elevator with ground level and top level stops is a welcome convenience to unpack the groceries you’ve brought along for your stay. On the first level you’ll find four of the home’s bedrooms: a king master with an ensuite bath and walk-in closet; and a king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a room with two single beds and a queen sleeper sofa that share a hallway bath.
