Great property in an excellent location. Close to Stowe, but away from the hustle and bustle of the leaf peeling crowds. Beautiful fall foliage and mountain views from the comfort of a beautiful, spacious home!

We enjoyed a fantastic long weekend in this gorgeous home. The house was lovely with a layout that was extremely comfortable for all our family. It was very clean and well appointed. The location is perfect - easy walk to the village green and amenities of Spruce Peak and you can not ask for a more beautiful view! Communication at time of reservation and all through our stay was excellent. We even received a phone call while there checking that the air conditioning was performing adequately (which it was). We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

It is a beautiful home. Wonderful view of Stowe! Great amenities with all the nice touches: hot tub, pantry had basic necessities, heated bathroom floor. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms. Walk into Stowe Village.

Stowe Away

Stowe cabin was as advertised. Perfect for friends and family for a winter getaway. Location ideal , the host was exceedingly available for questions and cabin was clean and beautiful.

Two families with tween/teen kids (ten of us in total) had a wonderful February break stay at this property. Very comfortable and superbly located to enjoy Stowe! Everything was well taken-care-of and as-advertised. Instructions and resources from owner were efficiently and clearly communicated, and very helpful. Owner was very responsive to questions. We would definitely come back.

Cozy perfection!

We enjoyed our stay at the StoweGlobe so much! The amazing views, the cozy fireplaces, the outdoor hot tub, and tons of space made this rental an absolute dream for our family of 6. We cannot wait to return and are excited to plan our next visit!

Pictures don’t do the house justice. Incredibly functional, great layout, stunning views from all floors and incredibly clean. Tough property to beat.

What a view!

This property is simply beautiful, with a view of the mountain that is absolutely breathtaking. Plenty of space, comfortable, and walking distance to the slopes and mountain village with restaurants and shops and even a little store for staples (all becoming incredibly expensive, but that’s not the fault of this host!). The host was always ready to respond immediately to any questions or problems, everything worked great, and our only issue (a balky fire alarm) was resolved quickly. We loved our stay and would absolutely rent again!

Stunning Views, Needs Better Upkeep - A Mixed Experience at Stowe Mountain Resort

Nestled in the picturesque environs of Stowe Mountain Resort, the VRBO property I recently stayed at was a blend of breathtaking beauty and unexpected shortcomings. The architectural design and surrounding vistas were nothing short of awe-inspiring, offering a serene escape from daily life. However, this perfect picture was somewhat tarnished by maintenance issues. The heating system malfunctioned during our stay, and despite a quick fix by a repair person dispatched by the property manager, the problem resurfaced, indicating a lack of regular upkeep. Additionally, drainage issues in three sinks added to the inconvenience, detracting from the luxury expected at such a prestigious location. The exclusive use of queen beds across the property was peculiar for a house of this caliber. Moreover, the absence of any wall art contributed to a sterile atmosphere, a stark contrast to the warmth and charm one might expect in such a setting. In conclusion, while the property offers stunning views and a promising getaway, the experience was marred by maintenance oversights. For a house in Stowe Mountain Resort, it unfortunately fell short of expectations. A focus on these areas could significantly enhance the overall guest experience in the future.

Thank you, John, for your review, but there needs to be some transparency here. The heating system is working and is serviced each year. We called a tech immediately after they thought the heat was not working. The tech thoroughly inspected it and found it to be working. We can control the heat and monitor it remotely, and we noticed each night, John would continually set the heat back down to 61 and then complain it wasn't warm in the morning. The home is 5,000 square feet with high ceilings, and it takes a few hours to get back up to temperature, so to say the heating system is not maintained or does not work is false. We have checked the sinks, and they all function correctly. This whole review seems to be written by A.I and not John, it is not an accurate representation of the home. However, we agree with John that the house needs a king bed, which will be installed this spring. There is also plenty of art on the walls. The home is a beautiful place to stay, with gorgeous views and some of the best full mountain views you will get in the mountain cabins! Also easy access to everything Spruce Peak has to offer.
