Newly renovated semi oceanfront home in the heart of the Outer Banks. Salty Sunrise is the perfect beach getaway. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home features ocean views and easy access to Byrd and Fonck Street beach accesses.

Enjoy morning coffee on the upper or lower decks while watching the sunrise over the water. You can also walk to Shore Coffee Roasters within half a mile!

A separate back unit, Salty Siesta, sits behind the home and accommodates up to four guests. Three parking spaces are reserved for Salty Sunrise and one for Salty Siesta.

Your family will love staying in Kitty Hawk! Salty Sunrise sits in a great location near shopping centers, local restaurants, and many fun activities! When you need groceries, you’re close to a Food Lion, Harris Teeter and Walmart. Excellent location - close to nearby restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets... whatever you need. Really nice ocean views with shaded seating area on the top floor right next to the kitchen, very quiet at night and overall an amazing experience. Gunther and Leela (the owners) stayed in touch with us making sure that we had everything we needed which made us feel very welcomed and taken care of. We would definitely stay here again.

Property has great potential. The upstairs has been remodeled but the lower level is in dire need. One bed was unusable as the mattress or box springs appeared to be broken. There was a Porta potty in the driveway and extension cords running to the house from new construction taking place in the back. The grill was filthy and not usable. The biggest concern is the 2 inch discrepancies in the concrete level in the parking area caused a guest to trip and fall. With a few minor changes this could be an outstanding property as it is only 1 street back from the beach

Hi Jerry, Thank you so much for your thoughts and tips! We wish we would have known your concerns during your stay when we reached out to ask how things were going as we would have been happy to address them asap. We have extra grills on hand we could have replaced it with (we have now!!) and would have addressed the bed immediately as that’s a big one (I’ve written you privately about this as we tested each bed after your review and we actually can’t find where one is broken and would really appreciate your help here!). Thank you for letting us know about the step up in the concrete and we are so sorry it caused your guests trouble - we had not had anyone point this out and will do what we can to make it clear it’s there! The construction- while only being behind the house out of the way of the front property- is now all cleaned up and again we are sorry we didn’t know it was a bother to you and hope it didn’t distract too much from the beautiful view out front and the cozy/remodeled home!
