Amazing vacation!

We had an amazing time in Tamarindo and loved our stay at Villa don Vito! Mariana was an excellent concierge and helped us plan everything from meals to transportation to excursions. Highly recommend this place and hope to return!

Very unusual. Nice layout. Great outside area Garden and pool beautiful. Great house for family reunion. Living area spacious Bedrooms all different good beds Kitchen practical and well stocked. Housekeeping did great job. Gardener cleaned pool daily and supplied fresh beach towels. Concierge Mel very helpful

Better Than The Pictures

This place is over the top nice. As great as the pictures look it does not do it justice. The cleaning crew comes in everyday and does a fantastic job. This may be the nicest place I ever stayed at.

Property was as advertised, concierge was attentive to our needs, house staff kept the property clean inside and outside. Location was quiet and secluded yet walking distance to downtown bars snd restaurants. I’d highly recommend for families and large groups.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time at Villa Don Vitto. The set up of the rooms were perfect for multiple families. We spent a lot of time in the pool. Very clean and staff were efficient and quick. Concierge was responsive and friendly. Close to all the restaurants but because of heat we were glad we rented a golf cart. Highly recommend this vrbo.

Magical and Beautiful

This was an exceptional property! Every detail shown in the pictures is exactly what was there. The cleanliness and staff cattending to us was exceptional. We ordered breakfast everyday and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Thank you so much for a fabulous experience in Costa Rica! We plan to come back!

Incredible villa - great for a large group

Wow. This place was incredible and Mariana the concierge was exceptional. She was always available and coordinated 2 golf carts for our group to use. She also offered lots of local recommendations. The pool and villa are straight outta Instagram and would absolutely go again. The villa is a 15 minute walk to town, with a number of restaurants and stores along the way.

Unbelievable

It was our private oasis and still walking distance to shops, beach, restaurants. We had 11 adults and 2 children. There is no actual instruction booklet like we are used to with other rentals but messaging the staff, whatever we needed was there within minutes! It was so incredible! Beyond expectation!!

A piece of luxury in the jungle!

Mariana was awesome and always available from the moment we booked! She was very instrumental in achieving this memorable trip. The house is gorgeous, well equipped and clean. We had a great time, enjoyed the pool and amenities. Everything is close by. The golf carts were fun to have and made getting further out possible. Thank you for everything! Our group of 13 had the best time and appreciated every detail!

Amazing

Our family of 11 (ranging from 3 to 75 years old) had an absolutely wonderful time at Villa Don Vito! The hiuse was perfect, the pool was wonderful and the animals outside (shout out to Rocky the iguana) were fantastic. The location was great, as well as the communication with the property manager. The only "problem " is I'm not sure our future family vacations will come close to this place! Everyone keeps talking about it and cant get over how fabulous it was. Thank yiu to the housekeeping staff, pool/grounds keeper, and Mel, we appreciate all you did.

Pretty good Family house

The property was suitable for our Family of 17, but that would be the max. Unique layout and set up for Family contact. The "loud" with dogs barking, and animals on the roof. We did have a Costa Rica skunk raid our kitchen, which was exciting for the kids.

Skunk infested property and health hazard

I wanted to celebrate my 50th birthday with my friends at this villa. We are all doctors and surgeons and in total we were 21 people. We arrived at the property on Friday Dec 29 and were supposed to stay till Jan 6. We had everything planned including golf cars and restaurants to stay in the town of Tamarindo. At night time we found a skunk in our kitchen. Soon after the care takers came to remove it and the daughter of the villa manager who spoke fluent English told us that they had a “problem with a family of skunks residing in the villa!” That night the noises from the walls and ceilings and the cries of the skunks were unbearable. I have videos and pictures of all of this to prove and have sent them to VRBO. We could not sleep at night and were trying to see how we can relocate 21 people during the busiest time of the year. The next day two skunks were seen in the kitchen one of which sprayed us and again I have the video of villa staff using fragrance sprays to defuse the smell. The floor of our room was full of wood chips and portion of the ceiling that had fallen and I begged VRBO and the villa agent to help us to relocate and refund my money in its entirety. I finally had to pay again to secure another villa and leave this property and still fighting with VRBO who admit I am still owed money but that this has to be resolved through credit card company. Please think again if you book this property as there is no guarantee or recourse!

Plenty of space

This home has a little of everything. My group enjoyed their rooms, outdoor patio, well equipped kitchen, pool table, ping pong table and large great room. Mariana was very helpful and the housekeeping staff was superb. The pool was a little too cold for our taste but beaches are nearby.

Top Notch Accomodation

Was the perfect accommodation for our group of 10 (5 couples). Great community and private space. Service was fantastic, and every recommendation the concierge (Mariana) made we were thrilled with (Yoga, Spa, Chef). Cleaners and outdoor maintenance group was exceptional. The location is perfect and there is onsite security. Our only feedback was that laundry was no longer an amenity.

Best Family trip ever!!

This house was nothing short of perfect! From the staff/owner to the layout/space, it was beautiful! We enjoyed every minute! We had kids as young as 2 months old and people as old as 65 in our group. The way this house is laid out is great and gave everyone adequate space and privacy. The staff was absolutely amazing! We highly recommend this house for anyone traveling to tamarindo. Can wait to go again! Soon!!!

Beyond Amazing!

Every single need or want has been anticipated for this beautiful home. We were a family of 12 which included three couples, so every child had their own bed with extras to spare. I would not hesitate to return to this wonderful home!

Great House For Multi-Generation Family Trip

Our family of 14 had a great time at Villa Don Vito. The house was very spacious and the layout made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy time with each other whenever we were at the house. Mariana was very helpful on a daily basis with recommendations and connections to tour operators, recommendations on restaurants, etc. And it was so nice to have daily housekeeping -- that team did an amazing job every day. Would definitely book again if I go back to the Tamarindo area.

Amazing stay!!

I came to Villa Don Vito on my bachelorette trip. Weeks before I even got there, Mariana helped me plan the perfect weekend itinerary. She spent a lot of time offering suggestions of activities and restaurants, all of which my group loved. She also helped us to organize transportation for us to make the weekend seamless. The property was also perfect for our group of 15 people. Everyone had their own separate spaces and were able to gather together in the main area and other common spaces for meals and downtime. The cleaning staff was thorough and the owners responded to any problems or questions that arose. Would definitely recommend for a big group!!

Paradise

We had an amazing trip. Owners were extremely responsive and staff was wonderful. ZERO issues and everything was Pura Vida! This is our second time staying in this fabulous location and can't wait to come back. We also had a chef come in for two different dinners and the food was fantastic. Trip of a lifetime.

Excellent home!!!
