Affordable Luxury

We loved it! A beautiful and modern space with rustic "out west" feel. Great location and easy access to everything we wanted or needed. I have just one complaint and it's not even really their fault, but charging for early check-in (which is quickly becoming the industry standard) really grinds my gears. Other than that, we had a great time. Very comfortable with plenty of living space, and exactly what we were looking for to make our ski trip exceptional. This is one we always remember and would definitely stay with them again if/when we come back to Summit County.

Management was extremely responsive to any requests or issues. The location is perfect - right in the middle of the village with a short walk to the river run gondola. The heated garage was also a plus given the below freezing temperatures! We would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Keystone!

Perfect for families

Location close to gondola and start of ski school for little ones. Fitness studio was adequate, facilities are nice. Beds comfortable, nice sheets. A little noise from the square at night but with the exception of holidays it is very quiet in the Keystone square generally (and actually parking lot facing condos can be noiser).

Great Stay for Family Ski Trip!

This condo was an awesome find! My family really enjoyed our stay. The location can’t be beat- close to the gondola (less than 5 min walk) and in the middle of River Run village shops & restaurants. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Very clean. Hope to stay here again!

The locker setup downstairs is also convenient. The hot tub was also nice. The location was excellent and the village view was cute. We have rented from Summit a few times and it's always been excellent. The only complaints would be that the plumbing is very loud and the heat whined sometimes. Overall, we were very happy with the experience!

Convenient Slopeside Condo

This was a fantastic property for our family this fall. It would be excellent anytime during the year. We cooked in, played games, enjoyed the deck(s), rode bikes, walked, played in the pool/hottub, and ate in Dillon and Keystone at wonderful establishments. Clean, nice bedding and bath amenities made this feel like a home away from home.

Great place for a Keystone stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very nice and very spacious. It is one floor above River Run square, which made for great people watching from the balcony. It also meant that you could often hear voices and activity in the square when you were trying to sleep, but that is the trade off for being right on the square. The elevator worked well enough to get to the lobby and garage, but a stairwell near the unit was even quicker and got you in and out quickly. Overall a perfect location and a great place to stay.

This was our first time staying at Black Bear and we highly recommend it for its proximity to the slopes, shops, and easy access. The condo was a good size for our family of 4 (parents & teens). Kitchen was small but well appointed. Right on the square but quiet and cozy. Loved that the laundry was right next door. Would definitely stay again.

We are also in the resort and have the longest business hours of any management company.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
