Matched the listed photos exactly, and the walk to the beach was even closer than I was expecting. And it was in a good neighborhood

I hope everyone reads these reviews before booking because I did not. The place looks nothing like the pictures, the walls look like there melting, tape over and electrical pipe and romex running to an outlet right behind the bed. The beds were like sleeping on the floor and the place was very hot we had to leave the door open until we were going to bed. My friends were staying 3 blocks away and had a much much nicer place with AC and just an all around nicer place to stay in for just 10 more a nite than me . Will never be booking this place again.

Beautiful cozy place close to the beach.

Overall it was perfect and super close to the beach. They have picnic tables outside and BBQs as well.

Perfect location and accomodations!

Close to beach, restaurants and entertainment that we enjoyed walking everywhere. Ocean beach is not as busy as Pacific Beach which was so much more relaxing.

The place was clean but the photos were not an accurate depiction of the room. The ceiling fan in the back room, which didn’t have a window, barely moved and didn’t push the air. The floor fan provided was rough. It was so hot we did everything possible to be away until late/bedtime. We were here for a family gathering/beach vacation. The room was advertised with an iron and hair dryer, which were not provided. We did not bring either and had to purchase a hairdryer and show up to our gathering wrinkled. Ocean beach is not your nicest beach, lots of homeless in the area. It is right next to the dog beach. With the right breeze, the dog beach smell carried over to the room. Or it may have been the neighbors, could not tell. The place is very small and not ideal for 4 even though it sleeps 4. It is equipped with a microwave and coffee maker. Very limited outlets. We had to set the coffee maker on a stool to plug it in, as the cord would not reach. No outlets in the kitchen. We contemplated checking out early and booking a hotel elsewhere. It was very disappointing.

Great location!

The place was exactly what we needed. Perfect for a couple, walking distance to beach, restaurants, coffee places, breweries, etc... And the assigned parking was great!

The neighbors were TERRIBLE! The house was totally fine. And clean. Great location and parking. Neighbors loud and rude. Kept us up until after 2AM.

I locked us out of our rental lock box and without any rescue phone number I authorized the locksmith to drill out lock. It should be noted that the property mgr did not give us a code to the lock box. After the morning we discovered that all of the electrical outlets still worked perfectly. We were looking for somewhere within easy walking distance of the beach and with adequate parking space for a minivan. This property met both of these perfectly! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and there are plenty of dining options within easy walking distance.

Fan in bedroom didn't work but light was on and we couldn't turn off.I reached out to host and she said remote for living was used for bedroom as well.We tried but it didn't work for bedroom.Only living room.Reached out again but host never responded again.Beds were super hard and uncomfortable.We didn't get a restful sleep.Yard was not kept clean of weeds.Wall had tape over gas pipes in living room.Walls were patched up with caulking in different areas.Mini fridge had one missing handle for the bottom door.We do not recommend!

The bungalow has nice linens, beds are comfortable, unit D has lovely patio under the oleander tree on a local neighborhood street close to the beach and downtown OB and at the end of Bacon a perfect spot to see the Sea World fireworks. The place only had 2 bent forks and no knives or spoons. No broom. I had to take wire from TV and reconnect to use the microwave and coffee. The coffee was delicious.

Lovely Stay

Property was very clean & cozy, excellent location to beach, & parking. Had everything we needed. Only issue was connecting to WiFi in cottage using network access provided, & then issues connecting with property manager to report through Vrbo. Turned out to be an issue with Vrbo. Using off-hour contact number, property manager addressed immediately with alternative way to connect to WiFi and resolved; impressed with property manager responsiveness. We would stay again.

Cozy place with thin walls

Really nice, cozy property a few blocks from the beach and a private courtyard! Tons of amazing coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Had a hard time getting a response from the property manager regarding check-in, as well as an emergency maintenance issue that came up during my stay. Also, walls seem pretty thin so you can clearly hear people walking on the street and neighbors playing music. If you're a light sleeper, this place might be tough especially in high-season. If you're a heavy sleeper, don't need to contact the manager, and want to be close to the beach, this is a great place.

When you pull around to the parking at the back of the property you will be greeted by fly infested, stinking trash cans. When we got out of the car we were asked by a filthy junkie 'if we needed help with our bags'. Funny but not funny if you have a four and six year old with you. When we walked in my six year old said 'this place is small' (which is true) but the gap between the floor and front door was not small enough to keep out the mouse who visited. We contacted the host twice on the number given and didn't hear back either time.
