Excellent view of the ocean and pool area from the balcony. Location was perfect. Great communication with host prior to check in which made the process much smoother.

Beautiful place and great location. Remember to bring your own trash bags,detergent and toiletries if you are staying more than a couple days. There were some issues with the elevator when we were there, but nothing major. Would stay again

The beach view and pool were excellent. Easy access. Across the street you had canal views. The balcony was nice and furniture scale was just right for it. Indian Shores was a laid back area that was easy to navigate with no traffic issues. Restaurants near by, Caddy’s was a nice bar/restaurant directly across the street and the food was good.

Condo is in an excellent area in smaller building, which is great for an uncrowded beach. The inside was functional for what we needed, but we did face a few issues. The main concern was the bunk bed room; it wasn't entirely clear from listing photos, but there is no true wall between the room and the hallway, just slatted walls and sliding slatted doors that still leave gaps. If you have children who are lighter sleepers, be prepared with a sound machine or some kind of sheet covering. The interior was okay, living room furniture could definitely be updated/more comfortable. We were grateful for close proximity to some great restaurants and sites like the bird sanctuary and parks. It was fun to just walk across the road and get a great dinner on the intercoastal.

The penthouse was great for our family of 5. It had a great view, pool and hot tub area were great and the beach area was great. Plenty of beach chairs, pool noodles, umbrellas and beach toys were there for us to enjoy.

This was our 1st time at sandcastle 2 and it was better then sandcastle 1! The condo was pretty clean I’m a cleaner by trade so I noticed things! Easy to get into and our family had the best time!!!

The place was exactly what was described , clean, comfortable and with beautiful views of the sunset. Direct beach access was perfect. The unit was very quiet, couldn't hear any neighbors while inside. Definitely worth every penny!

indian shore VRBO May 2026

Indian Shore was beautiful and the beaches were pristine. Property/condo was nice but dated. We were on the 10th floor and the views were spectacular. However, there was only one elevator operating and on a one occasion that elevator was not working. My husband has a heart condition, and the elevator was a concern.

View was as promised, kitchen was appropriately stocked. Only complaint is that the furniture had been moved around from where the pictures on the website showed and made the initial impression of the room very poor. After rearranging the furniture in the living area and on the porch as displayed on the website and adding some fresh flowers it became more enjoyable. Also, the mattress in the 3rd bedroom could use some improvement. We did call maintenance to have a grease spot removed from the ceiling above the microwave. Other than that we did enjoy our trip. The beach and pool / outdoor kitchen area is good. We did enjoy our stay.

Perfect condo for our 2026 family beach vacation. The kids loved the pool being right next to the beach and the beautiful beach being steps away from your front door was the icing on the cake. Sitting on the balcony at night and watching the sunset was the perfect way to end the day. Condo was well equipped and we really couldn't have asked for anything more. Except the elevator service. One of the elevators was down so only had one running elevator for 10 floors of condo guests. Had to walk down a few times because of the delay in getting an elevator. A few times they had to shut the only running elevator down when they worked on it so had to wait around because we definitely could not lug 4 kids and our beach supplies up 10 flights of stairs. Other than that issue it was the absolute perfect spot for a beach vacation. Located close to restaurants within walking distance and a beautiful surrounding area. Loved it and will book again for sure.

Management company was very responsive to initial couple of matters. Outstanding balcony view of the Gulf with dolphin viewing most days. Excellent stay.

The balcony and views were priceless, and the pool and hot tub came in even more useful than we had thought since we were there during a cold snap. Hot tub is actually a real hot tub and not just a warm pool. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving dinner. The only complaint/suggestion for change we had was that the rooms could use some blackout curtains because it’s hard for small kids/infants to sleep with just shears or blinds.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beach and view from the condo were fantastic, and we loved the area with plenty of nearby restaurants that never felt overly crowded. Having a dedicated parking space was also a big plus.The condo was well stocked with beach toys, umbrellas, chairs, and boogie boards. While there were quite a few broken chairs that could be cleaned out, we appreciated having beach gear available and left behind a couple of new chairs and a small cooler for future guests.The biggest drawback was the elevator. Being on the 10th floor with only one small working elevator meant long waits, and we often saw people ride it to the top just so they could ride back down. From other reviews and conversations with guests, this appears to be a longstanding issue.The condo itself could use a few updates. The bunk bed is very wobbly, the lower bunk mattress is very thin, and the living room couches are quite worn. The master bedroom only has sheer curtains on the sliding door, so there's little privacy from the shared balcony space or light blocking. The dryer door is difficult to open because of the bifold closet doors. Overall the condo could benefit from a thorough deep cleaning, especially the air vents and other overlooked areas.
