Step outside and you’re moments away from the city’s most beloved cafés, hidden wine bars, and iconic sights. Inside, you’ll find a warm and stylish space with little touches that make it unforgettable — from cosy lighting to handpicked décor that reflects the spirit of our street.

Whether it’s a weekend of romance, an anniversary celebration, or a spontaneous getaway, this is the perfect base for exploring… and for never wanting to leave.

Due to its important role in Porto's history, 'Rua das Flores' Street has more visitors during the day than local people. It's a place you cannot miss. Why not stay here for some days instead of just passing through?

This self-catering apartment, on the 2nd floor of the Flowerstreet54 building, is carefully furnished and features hardwood floors. This well-sized and comfortable apartment is for two people. There is one bedroom with one queen-sized bed. The bathroom is clean with a modern suite and has a bathtub and a shower. Clean bath towels, Linen, and tableware are all included, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, stove, oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, and all you need to prepare your own meals. We can supply a travel crib at an extra cost.

The Flowerstreet54 building was completely rebuilt in 2005 and had to keep the original architecture by the imposition of the Culture Department of Portugal to maintain its beautiful Portuguese style. The apartment is 300 meters from Ribeira Square. Located just 4 minute's walk from the Metro station 'São Bento' and also São Bento Railway Station, thus arriving from Oporto airport or any other place in Porto city is easy. The location is convenient, fast, and economical, and from here you can easily take advantage of all other public and tourist transport.

The most central place in the historical area. In "Rua das Flores" Street, it is quiet because of the soundproof windows. (so not recommended for people who love to sleep with the window open).

Next to the apartment, there are supermarkets, grocery stores, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, museums, and taxi stops. Set in the heart of Porto's historic district, all-important monuments can be explored on foot. For example, Clerigos Tower, Lello Library, Bolsa Palace, Ferreira Borges Market, and Ribeira are all just 4 minutes away. You can also visit the wine cellars of Porto and the Cais de Gaia by simply walking across D. Luís Bridge and getting the chance to do a cruise on the River. Nearby, you can rent bicycles, program a guided visit, and take the tram to the beach on a beautiful trip along the Douro River to the beautiful village of Pinhão.

You will have access to our Flowerstreet54 blog and our online guidebook so you can get the most out of your visit to our city without the need to do too much previous research.

Late check-in is acceptable until 02:00 a.m. (probably self-check-in after 20:00 via Key Box). Late check-out is possible if we don't have new guests on the same day. We will be at the apartment on your arrival to welcome you, and give you the apartment keys and all the necessary information that you may need for a perfect stay, including nice tips on what to visit. You will always be able to contact us by mobile phone or WhatsApp.

Perfect Porto stay

We had a fabulous time in Porto and loved the location of our apartment. It was a great location, close to the river, all the sites and had amazing restaurants right outside the door. The recommendations by our hosts were 10/10, and they made the check-in process super easy. Would definitely stay there again if we ever get the chance to visit Porto again.

Right in the middle of EVERYTHING

As the title says, this lovely apt is right smack dab in the middle of everything. Convenient to all the attractions with easy access to Sao bento station. Hosts were responsive to all our questions and needs. Overall a great experience, we would absolutely book this location again.

So close to everything ; very comfortable stay.

In the heart of all the action

You could not ask for a better location. Everything you need and want is nearby or right under. The apt is adorable and well kept. The host is very attentive too. I will definitely return when we visit Porto again.

Would stay again!

Such a lovely apartment in a great location. The street is closed to cars and it is no nice to walk out and stroll. Convenient to all the sites. We walked everywhere. Communication was superb and they offered to arrange transport from the airport which was one less thing to worry about. If you are taking a train, it is extremely close to Sao Bento train station. Very clean and spacious for a one bedroom. Would stay again.

Awesome property and location

So easy to walk everywhere in Porto. Located on busy street. Super fun but neighborhood is busy into wee hours. Bring ear plugs if noise bothers you as there is no AC and window must be open. There are two windows but only one works.

We had such a great time in Porto. This was mainly due to the very charming location we had been in right in the heart of Porto. To Mr and Mrs Pinto it is very important, to make the guests feel very comfortable and relaxed. Great location!

Loved the apartment in old Porto! Literally in the middle of flower street and basically no cars - only people! We could be part of the action just in the apartment! An excellent restaurant a few steps away..Tracas- the grilled veal was amazing! The street was busy during the day & evening, but very quiet if doors of balcony were closed. Convenient to train station and most anything you’d want to see! Highly recommend..but must climb stairs, no elevator! Excellent communication with owners!

Excellent stay

My wife and I had a great week in Porto. Location is central on the pedestrian street with plenty of the restaurants. However, the night life that was nice to observe from the small balcony, didn't disturbed our night sleep. Apartments are spacious and everything worked fine: no problems with high speed Internet (WiFi), or other utilities (I mentioned it because as a seasoned VRBO user I know that it is not always the case). Another thing that I want to mention that I got very clear check in and check out instructions that were easy to follow. Our hosts responded to our questions right away and we felt like we had friends in Porto that take very good care of us.

Lovely apartment in fabulous location!

In one of Porto's top tourist hotspots, the apartment is in easy walking distance of most of the city's many attractions. It is spacious, well-appointed and comfortable, with big windows and good views. The street can get very noisy, but the acoustic glass windows deal with it incredibly well. On the other hand, there's so much music in the street that it's like getting a free concert. Cristina, Paula and Joao were very good hosts - helpful, good communicators and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Perfect stay!

Husband and I spent 2 1/2 weeks in an apartment here. Glorious! The apartment looked out over the pedestrian-only street filled with happy voices, street musicians and beautiful sights. Located over a Nutella and waffle shop meant the only street aromas were mild and actually quite appealing. Furnishings were very comfortable and attractive. Close the doors to the outside, silence, even on busy weekends. Location- perfect! Many restaurants and shops close by. Minutes to Metro, train, mini preco and laundromat. Our host was very helpful and friendly. Thank you! Wonderful stay!

The location was great, however the apartment definitely needs an upgrade to the lighting, as all lights were very dim. The condition of the couch was a bit sad and uncomfortable. The bed could really use a mattress topper for those of us who are a bit older. My wife would have appreciated a mirror by a power supply to blow dry and straighten her hair. Having said all that, we still enjoyed our stay in Porto.

Wonderful stay at a great location!

We loved everything about our stay. Having stayed in multiple VRBO's over the past two months in Spain and Portugal, the welcome pack and quantity of towels, face cloths (rarely provided for some reason) and toiletries (one VRBO left us one role of toilet paper for a 10 day stay) was a welcomed surprise! The apartment was much bigger than we needed but with 95,000 visitors in town for the Mobile World Congress we were very happy to find this gem. One small issue arose when the kettle's auto shut off stopped working. This was resolved and a new kettle delivered in just a few hours! While televisions are not a major concern, the apartment has a nice smart TV with Netflix pre-loaded (always remember to LOG OUT when using someone else's TV). The WiFi was plenty fast and allowed us to easily communicate with family and friends. We would absolutely stay here again when visiting Barcelona!

This was a great home base during our week-long stay in Porto. The location was good, as it’s in the heart of all the action — shops, restaurants, buskers. As such, it was noisy during the day, but it quieted down at night, and we always felt safe. It’s close to the train station and easy to walk everywhere (be prepared for steep hills). The apartment is more spacious than many in the inner city, which is comfortable for a longer stay. The hosts, João and Cristina, are lovely and welcoming. My only recommendation is that the apartment be more generously appointed with basic amenities. It would be helpful to have a few more items like more towels, more choice of blankets, garbage bags, more utensils (such as a bread knife), more staples such as cooking oil, spices, etc. However, these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Location is crucial when visiting a city like Porto and our flat couldn't be more central than this. Metro and Train stations at 200 meters. One of the most important streets in Porto named "Rua das Flores", near Ribeira, is full of beautiful buildings, street artists, and fantastic stores. Clerigos Tower, Lello Bookstore, Bolsa Palace, and many others are all at less than 500m. Visit the wine cellars of Porto simply walking across D. Luís Bridge and getting the chance to do a Douro Cruise. Imagine being able to roll out of bed and into the bustling streets of Porto within minutes.

You will not need to rent a car and the bus, train, and metro will help you in the rare cases that you will need to leave the historical area.
