Attractive condo with amenities, but a couple glaring oversights
Condo is cute, spacey and well appointed overall. Lots of stairs (3 story). Would be nice if they didn't make the garage inaccessible. My net review is that I would rent it again, if they fix the below.The oversights were disappointing. First, the refrigerator was borderline non-functional as it barely cooled its contents. Yet, there is a conspicuous warning not to change the temperature under threat of fine. Ironic.Our milk and yogurt lasted little more than a day. And no, we didn't fill the fridge with warm food (as if that should matter in 2025). Second, the listing advertises a "coffee maker" and to "bring you own filters." There is no coffee maker. There is a garbage-tier K-Cup machine. That's not a generic "coffee maker", and normal filters obviously do not fit in K-Cup machines. The listing in this regard was entirely wrong and it was a hassle to deal with. They had an unusual aluminum french press instead, but the stove is electric so you can imagine how inefficient and imprecise that was for making coffee.The electric stove was disclosed in the listing. But, like all electric stoves, it was finicky, too small (pans encroach each other) and slow to heat. If you like to cook, just keep this impediment in mind.The kitchen appointments were also fairly bare bones. Pots and such were minimal, although usable. There is no food processor.The rest of the unit was smartly supplied, but, no broom & dustpan? Again with the dumb oversights!
